My argument is, what if a Husband or a father choose to stay home and work from home. Example, medical transcriptions, radio hosts or announcers, etc. There are these cases. And you are right, I am not a stay at home father cause I choose to be, but I do not judge those who do stay home, maybe there is a good reason.

i do not agree with this i am a mother and you can not count on men to take care of you and your child because if you do that what happens if he changes his mind and doesnt want to support you anymore and that is what happen to me my daughters father left because he didnt want to support us anymore so women you need to be working and dont count on anyone to take care of you. In over 75% of marriages, the husbands are the breadwinner, meaning they earn more than their wives, even if it is a small amount. Many female breadwinners became the breadwinner because their husbands were victims of the recession. So it's not like these women were the breadwinner at the time they got married. Point is, the chances of you marrying-up is quite high.

@onmyown1516 But you can't cross-examine a homicide victim. Rape victims that are still alive must be asked questions to ensure that they are not lying. Even the victims of an attempted murder will be asked questions. The court doesn't do this to turn the victims into criminals. They do it to ensure that they don't send the wrong person to prison. There have been men who have spent decades in prison because they were falsely accused. That does say a lot about our culture, indeed. Take care, too.

I am a stay at home father due to unemployment. But also I would argue if the job allows you to stay and work from home. I DO agree that as men, and women, we need to provide for our families and ensure there is at least food on the table for our children.

My argument is, what if a Husband or a father choose to stay home and work from home. Example, medical transcriptions, radio hosts or announcers, etc. There are these cases. In over 75% of marriages, the husbands are the breadwinner, meaning they earn more than their wives, even if it is a small amount. Many female breadwinners became the breadwinner because their husbands were victims of the recession. So it's not like these women were the breadwinner at the time they got married. Point is, the chances of you marrying-up is quite high.

Even the victims of an attempted murder will be asked questions. The court doesn't do this to turn the victims into criminals. They do it to ensure that they don't send the wrong person to prison. There have been men who have spent decades in prison because they were falsely accused. That does say a lot about our culture, indeed. Take care, too.

Women take the same driving test, pay the same taxes. When the victime takes the stand, her entire sexual history is questioned. What she wore is analyzed. She has to prove the she wasn't "asking for it". The defendant has no such questioning. What do you want jurors to do; blindly convict men without first attempting to substantiate proof that she was actually raped? They ask certain questions to determine whether or not they can find holes in her accusations.

@framboise595 You never answered my questions from before. Do you interact with women outside of the home? If so, you are a hypocrite. You don't think women are as smart or as stong as men-your words, not mine. So if you accept the help/advice of any woman- it makes you a hypocrite. Why would you do so if we are so weak and dumb?

No special treatment in courtrooms? Are you kidding me? It has been shown time and time again that women recieve smaller sentences than men for similar crimes. Family courts and divorce courts are also extremely biased.
Women don't have to work hard to be respected. Even the military and police departments lowered their standards for female applicants. Sounds fair to me.

@georgelopezblows Those laws aren't protecting you b/c white men have not faced historical/societal discrimination like women and racial minorities do!!! Women face jail time more often then males do. Look it up. I would love for you to the balls to say what you just said to a female cop or soldier. They would appreciate knowing that they only got the job b/c of their vagina and NOT because they worked hard for it. Can you accept that a woman gets something b/c she deserves it?

As for jail time, women receieve smaller sentences on average when compared to men. Look it up.
Unless women are held to the same physical standards of men, they did not equally acheive anything. So technically, they only earned it because they were given a handicap. Their vagina was the only reason they received that handicap. Sorry, it's true.

Hypergamy still exists because women are not willing to fight for equality. If your mother could do it, all women can do the same.

Either way, it's all anecdotal, as you cannot prove that your mother was earning more on their wedding day. Call me skeptical, but I am someone who likes to see proof before I accept something as fact.

1. Woman A is single and a MD
2. Male A is single and a teacher.
3. Women A makes more money than Man A-both of whom are still single
4. Women A and Man A get married. They both have the same profession and income as point 1, 2 & 3.
Conclusion: Woman A makes the same amount of money both as a single person and as a married person.

I know many married couples and have been to many weddings. I have never attended a wedding in which the bride was earning more than the groom. Most people I know have had the same experience.

I don't care who earns more money. I am just tired of women who expect men to earn more, which is the majority. There have even been studies done which all expose the issues that successful women have in the dating scene. Most women expect to be matched, and that just isnt possible anymore.

A female doctor who marries a male teacher obviously makes more than her husband before they got married...And I don't know any woman whose 'husband's dime' paid for her grad school.
