Listening to such beautiful song, remind me the old days when i was a kid playing joyfuly in sudan.. This song is famous in East Africa and people there love it. Music is an international language.
I was deeply impressesd by the comments conveyed by our brothers from Ethiopia, Etriea and Somali on this Song. The fact is that we sing one tune and shire the same feelings regardless of the different languishes.
For those who would like to know what the song says.I can say the first couplet goes as follows:
i love this music eventhough i dont know what they say. i used to listen to this music when i was very young at school on social scince class. since then i just loved it. thx for posting.
M.Makeba was 1st mama of Africa, Buzunesh Bekele was 1st Aunt of Africa, and Off course al balabil 1st daughters of Africa.Love & Peace ^^__+__^^ ***
831974, i have no words how to thank you for this video. i am Ethiopian and this song has a childhood memory for me as it was played in Addis 70s a lot and i used to sing it as a child with my sibilings. now watching this video sang it happily but tearful with happy memories.
This is their breakthrough all over East Africa. I have a special place for this song in my heart. Here in Ethiopia, you can haer the song at least once in a day from every corner of city fair. Slaaaam Sudan! The most entertaining nation of my heart. Salaaaaaam, From Addis Ababa
A moment that has boomed Sudan forward in a certain period, till the backward gear was not triggered by the contemporary he-goats. They symbolized the genuine non imported Sudanese Culture featured on their grin. I would like to thank the one who has posted the rare moment of Albalabil. I appeal to every one to properly document their life history and make a movie of their journey. They are rare, and they will not be repeated again, please, document the current surviving Balabil.
Thank you very much for posting these songs of Al Balabil. You have changed our lifestyles. We now spend more time at home watching these beautiful girls singing beautiful songs. Please post more of the same.
