  • does it have a clean bypass

  • how about a demo with bass guitar

  • I use the guitar Xciter and it rulz. . I've the Maximizer, Boss Enhancer, DOD Edge & ToneFreq and my fav are DOD & Aphex but I use this the most. This gives me the low-end that I desire. And makes my guitar sound stand out from the rest.

  • oh my god, someone do a demo of the Aphex guitar xciter. Geez.

  • Hey guys, you could always film this video and record the audio to a quality digital unit and mix the audio and video in Roxio DVD creator and make a super sounding video. just a thought

  • I can't hear no difference...

  • Using double negatives...you must have a public school education from the United States.

  • It's because of the YouTube compression, sadly.. :(

  • Wait, I spoke too soon. You actually can hear the difference pretty well. In the beginning 'adjustment' part it is less apparent, but when the guy plays, it's much more noticeable.

  • @yaksox seriously? it's much brighter with it on

  • they have videos for all but the guitar xciter. Come on, get a video on the guitar xciter, Please

  • I have the guitar xciter and I have to say its an interesting studio tool but useless as useful effect live or jamming, it adds so much top end to make the amp sound brittle and theres no way to remove it. I get headaches after playing with this on for along time.

  • Woops...he pointed to the compressor and said "this one's for electric guitar."

    D'oh :-D

  • Parabens, Maestro Poty!

  • I have a Taylor NS34 nylon string edition. What pedal I should buy, for acoustic or bass?

  • try both of them out and see which one fits your tastes.

  • acoustic xciter is amazing for taylor nylon

  • yes but i haven't heard the sound coming from the green unit, so which one would you advice me to buy for my acoustic guitar, the green or the blue one?

  • i thought this is designed for bass guitar and the green one is for acoutic guitar... any explanation?

  • You are correct -- they were designed with specific instruments in mind. However, those pedals are very versatile. The Bass Xciter does a remarkable job cleaning up and sharpening acoustic guitar tone. Watch the vid and hear it for yourself.
