To add retracts, you need to get the wings for h9 p 51 sport. same plane, except that the wing are made ready for retracts.

Why such a long prop? I run a 10*8APC 2blade on my mustang pts with OS55AX and a tuned pipe.

Because I prefer a good balance between speed and torque and avoid to push the engine to the limit.

i was just trying to figure out how much a difference in performance it would give. much faster? or will it hover. i realise warbirds arnt meant for it, but then again i hover mine a bit stock, but would never pull out vertically , at best i can maintain control enough to fly away from it.

it was my 1rst balsa plane, i flew the foamy yard bird 22 as a 1rst plane, rebuilt alot, and now this , 0 crashes 12 flights . ive really enjoyed this one.. any tail weight needed? willl it pull out of a hover vertically with that, or will that never happen with a stang

Yeah, it´s a really cool plane. Didn´t put any weight and never pulled out!
