@TimeLordGuitar I am 16... and I think that Yngwie rocks, as well Iron Maiden, Stratovarius, and more metal bands. Not all the people that you call "kiddies" thinks the same. I don't like COB or Arch Enemy... but It's a matter of tastes.

Also, I like Rainbow, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Van Halen, and other classic Hard rock bands.

So, don't generalize... I don´t eat that shit on MTV. I listen real music. And still I'm a "kiddie".

Metal fans run around with inverted crosses all while enforcing very religious-like ideas of their preferred genre, it's laughable. Yngwie is great. Ritchie Blackmore is great. I disagree. Actually, Yngwie was the big attraction that Alcatrazz had. Their shows were filled with guitar players, and their follow-up CD with Steve Vai didn't do nearly as well. Yngwie was not carried at all.

Never heard a Graham Bonnet/MSG song on the radio ever in my life...though have heard Rock My Nights Away, Are you Ready to Rock, etc with Gary Barden. (Not that MSG was ever a big success/headliner anyway.) Don't know that Assualt Attack was their most succesful...seems unlikely.

what an awesome song.. I bought this album when it came out in `85, it was my first CD as a matter of fact.. 23yrs later and it's still fresh and relevant. GREAT players are like that... I am not tired of listening to Loudness either.. Akira takasaki is another freak of nature on the guitar.. Freaks are cool !!

It is very "cool" right now for metal kiddies to bash older bands/musicians like Judas Priest, Iron Maiden and Yngwie Malmsteen.
