Star Wars, as it appeared in 1977 in the theaters is as close to a perfect film as can be. I wish those born after that era could go back in time and experience it then the way us older folks did when we were kids. Nothing even close ever appeared in the big screen back then. Most movies in that era were dark, brooding, serious and geared more toward adults. This brought fun back to the theaters and probably helped save the industry.
