  • Your talking about everything but what has already come to past especially 9/11...

  • Your talking about everything but what has already come to past esspecially 9/11...

  • "Don't believe this! America is fine, the economy has stabilized, the trillion plus debt shall be paid off, employment will rise, equanimity shall be restored, if you close your eyes and go back to sleep everything will be all right" - Dolly Parton

  • Mike Ruppert, a prophet? Oh please, the guy has been wrong on many occasions. He makes a living scaring the shit out of gullible, weak people.

Things will get worse, but personally I don't see a collapse. I have been listening to these doomsayers for many years now, and MOST of what the predicted never came to pass. Things have gotten worse, tougher, yes of course. We just have to adjust. Bye Mikey!

  • Hah, I bet ppl rather play Farmville on Facebook then doing something..

  • A very powerful and emotionally grasping film. I wish I could selfishly make everyone watch it!

  • Great movie. It's all on target.

  • Search for zero one movie

  • Great film.

  • prepare ur mind 2012

  • india and china will emerge world leaders by early 2020

  • It looked interesting until he basically said "we're all going to die."

  • First off he doesn't have a clue about "oil" or where it is heading. I work in the petroleum "oil" industry, and this guy wouldn't know a crown from a vault. We have been drilling and frac'ing like mad, so are all of the other companies, and we are not even no-where close to the conspiracy "peak oil" scenario. We are floating on a multi-layered sea of the stuff, it isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

We are also researching alternatives at a rapid pace....so no doom or gloom or tin-foil hats.

  • @tzebra

guess i better take your word for it then. Since you know more about everything than anybody else hey?

  • @AmanoHybrid I have a better clue that he ever will. Unlike that bozo, I actually grew up in the industry and have worked in it since I was legally old enough to do so, which to this day would be over 39 years... Never recall seeing him anywhere... maybe they stuffed him in the cellar with a lollypop so he could appear later to spread hubris and idiocy in the hope of making a quick profit off those without a clue....hey?

  • @tzebra

...have you even watched this film or read about this guy? There is a reason he is on the trailer to a globaly viewed film that you are merely commenting on. So however much of a failure you consider M.R to be, the impact you have made through your 'opinion' is clearly more invalid than his ever will be. Shoo, you insect.

  • @AmanoHybrid Yes I have heard him, and many like him, touting about peak-oil, and they are so full of hubris it is amazing they can support their own body weight. As for price gouging...welcome to the real world, happens all the time, and not really a damn thing many can do about it with the alternatives being too expensive for most. You want an investigative fact to follow, look at what all the drilling, disposals, and energy production does to the ground water you rely upon.

  • @tzebra

The people closest to the problem and with the "most experience" often have the most warped idea on whats really going on. Welcome to the Tolstoy Trap. And for Peak Oil, if you believe that the Earth has an infinite supply of oil, you are dead wrong. Maybe it wont happen as soon as the proponents say it will, but production will peak eventually. Its not just gas that will be the problem, plastics, pharmaceuticals, agriculture will all suffer from a reduced supply.

  • @Eeshank91 Must be why the CFTC are investigating the matter now, since it was proven on Wall Street that the oil shortage (SCAM) was just that, created by a group of influential investors to reap a personal harvest, to the tune of $50mil in personal profit. Perhaps being too close to the trees gives me a better view of reality than the followers of useless shamans preaching fear for profit?

  • If the people who made this want any credibility at all, then they should not have put a quote from THE ONION in there.

  • Its by design. All of it. "They" never wanted us to notice, but we're waking up, aren't we. "They" are waiting for us there too. Turn inwards to yourself for answers. Know thy self, and you shall know the truth, and the Truth shall set you Free. Watch the Project Camelot interview of Ashayana Deane.

    Fear is a choice.

  • Oil will eventually get sucked out to the last drop.

Off with the government. On with the monarchy.

"World war 3 will be fought with bows and arrows"

  • I purchased the movie... Was pretty good.

  • Somehow what he said makes sense, it's terrifying if all these are really true.

  • this video should be enough for all to see, and there will be more and more breaking the silence and they will all be hunted down and the first ones we throw to the lions, with instant replay and HD TV to see them pay for their deception and crimes,,, now that's justice.....

  • build scaffolds and hang them on the white house lawn..... the whole bush administration

  • Looks like the Industrial Revolution was a tragic mistake.

  • This is a movie EVERYBODY should see, get well prepared because this is exactly what is coming our way!

  • oh yeah! he predicted EVERYTHING. Of course none of these prophets ever are known of or heard from BEFORE the fact.

This is my new career. Rear view mirror prophet!!!

  • WATCH THIS MOVIE, FOR YOU OWN GOOD!!!

  • Just found where to watch t the movi3 online @ MOOV ZON,COM just google for the link above

  • I feel this movie is pretty much on the mark. Humans might come up with an alternative to oil, but there is nothing on the horizon right now. Even if we did come up with something, the population would keep increasing and fresh water would be in great shortage. Finally, the U.S. is not going bankrupt, we are there already. Investing in gold would be wise, but it is like 1200 an ounce now, which is further evidence something is up.

  • Yeah, there is. We already have the technology to replace everything that runs on oil/gas. Separating salt from sea water is also simple. It's all about applying the technology we already have.

  • @mikeJ334 What could possibly replace oil for the internal combustion engine? Ethanol is not an option because it requires more energy to produce it than it gives. Also, oil is used for virtually everything produced, from plastics to pesticides and millions of other products.

  • Combustion engine? That's so 2009. Electric motors are the future. The technology already exists. The only problem is that it is more profitable to screw the enviroment than to take electric motors seriously. But, car companies are moving forward with this and it will eventually become the standard. There are also alternatives for pretty much everything else we use oil for.

  • @mikeJ334 You are right about the electric car. There is a documentary that says it was close to happening but forces conspired to stop it.

But what about large diesel trucks and especially airplanes? It seems kind of hard to think they can ever run on electricity.

  • I'm not sure why a diesel truck couldn't be replaced with an electrical truck? I've seen a few of those. Airplanes might be hard to replace, but there are options. Maglev trains that run in vacuum tunnels (vactrain) can (theoretically) reach speeds up to 5000 mph. It will probably take decades before that happens but certain routes (like NY - LA) could probably be done faster.

  • The problem is not running cars on electricity... that we can do. The problem is creating those cars, you need oil to make cars. There are currently 800 million cars in the world, so we would have to make 800 mil new cars.. do you know how much oil that would be...?

  • You don't NEED oil to make cars. Who told you that?

  • hahaha... did i just read "you dont need oil to make cars"... pleaaase google it or something I feel a little stupid to be talking about this... you need 7 gallons of oil to make on tire.. just the tire... everything is oil.. every plastic is oil.. so google it and think about it

  • Again, you don't NEED oil to make tires or anything else in a car if everything is set up correctly. You don't need plastic to build a car either. There are alternatives to pretty much everything we use oil to produce. Think outside the box.

  • You're an idiot, the machines that make the cars? Last time I went and checked out the GM Holden plant in Melbourne here, most of the machines required oil, and shit loads of it. You think people are going to start assembling cars by hand like back in the old days do you?

    Think for fuck sake, mate.

  • He's talking about alternative energy methods to fossil fuels coming first before we make the electric cars etc. Although even making those 'clean' energy power plants will likely require our current energy currency to create, I don't know maybe there's another way. But there certainly isn't a need to be rude to get your point across.

  • You are right. The machines you saw are the only type of machines that could ever make a car. Period. Making new machines that does not require fossil fuels to run on is IMPOSSIBLE! What was i thinking...

  • You just need oil and fossil fuels to run them...so technically you would have a 26,000 dollar machine that can do fuck all unless you have the minerals to run them on.

  • You need fossil fuels to make cars. You know, electricity.

  • No, i don't know. Please explain why you would need fossil fuel to harness electricity.

  • Natural gas, coal and oil generate most of our electricity. To create any kind of alternative electricity source, you need these fossil fuels to get started. And there isn't enough left to change the entire infrastructure. We done waited too long.

  • @mikeJ334 hahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahha!

  • Please elaborate.

  • Ruppert was usually on the mon y when his site was in full operation. My jury is still out on Peak Oil but now that Global Warming is demonstrably false, what could be considered true? What would also explain the positioning of American power over the world's biggest oil reserves?

  • It's what I was saying too, but I am past caring what people call me, or care what they say if people are too stupid to wake up why the hell is it my problem my problem is to be aware and have a course of action I need to take.

  • they dont even talk about those ppl being satan worshipers;; i dont trust this..and im a fellow truther so dont think im trying to talk down on our movement..FUCK THE NWO!!!

  • This should be an interesting documentary.

People who are oppose to questioning things around them are either infantile or they don't want to get caught.

People who come in here and make ridiculous inflammatory comments about politicians and their respective parties are deliberately trying to derail serious discussion. On issues like this, nobody can afford to be politically or religiously divisive. After the crisis is averted, then the people deserve answers & can assess blame.

  • The fiat money belongs to the game, it was never yours. You became a player in the game with your birth certificate. It created your person

You Have a person, your Not a person. and money is just barter/trade. We dont need to be violent in this new future , thats just the owners of the game are pushing, thats propaganda, they are trying to bring you back to the fiat money game (better thr devil you know) ... don't fall for it. we have the internet we can Barter/trade.

  • awesome movie...you can see it free at mymovienerd(dot)com tho

  • no you cant, dont do it

  • Er, oil prices will NEVER rise to the point where nobody can afford it - oh they'll try to sell it at extortion prices - but they'll never sell it at a price where most people can't afford it - they won't make ANY money that way.

  • they now have cap and trade to make money with

  • ...That's what the world really runs on, not oil: BS!

    But regarding the "collapse"...

Hopefully neccessity will be the mother of some great inventions. I gotta believe humanity can come up with something better than lighting stuff on fire for energy...

  • If my sons did not want wars, there would be none." ~ Gutle Schnaper, Mayer Amschel Rothschilds wife

Signs and symbols rule the world, not words nor laws. Confucius

When no man is safe when freedom fails the best men rout in filthy jails why those who cry appease appease are hung by those they tried to please

  • Plan now, move west, learn how to survive all over again. This is unlike anything anyone has ever seen before. This is for real. It has the capacity for global-reach. We didn't move fast enough and/or progressive enough when we needed to.

  • Looks like an amazing movie. Let me just say to those who would blame Obama for this mess... This is a fundamentaly flawed SYSTEM!!! How can you possibly blame this president for the system that has been corrupt since day one??

  • It's got nothing to do with "evil coporations". It's exponential population growth in a finite resource world little kids. 600% growth in the last 100 years due to the advent of oil means the consequences of it's supply disruption is beyond imagination. Yes, laugh at the problem, poke at the director - there's really nothing else you can do.

  • IcBauder, Everything you say is correct, except for the first sentence. Corporations are for exponential growth, that is how they justify obscene salaries for their executives.

If we understand what an amazing resource oil is for the purpose of developing other forms of energy that don't rely on oil, we could make amazing progress towards avoiding oil suddenly being unavailable. Corporations never embraced the concept of oil efficiency and using oil to develop other energy sources.

  • I agree - it's a problem that spans all sectors. It's the elephant in the room. There is simply no politically corrct way to discuss population control, or why a corporation bent on earnings for the sake of stock values should avoid destroying an ecosystem. Leave that for radicals like greenpeace and pot loving hippies. Now that oil production has ramped up so fast to support our current complex structure, we have no choice but to gaze at the waterfall ahead. Society itself refuses to go back.

  • there is no need to talk of population control all humans are of equal worth. Nobody has the right to say who lives and who dies. We have enough land and enough resources and the technology to create abundance of food housing and energy. However Abundance goes completely against the models of our economy that revolves around creating scarcity so that materials have more value. The monetary system is the problem here not the people in it, As the system just breeds corruption and inequity.

  • I agree, there is no way to enforce population control. However this 'abundance' you refer to is directly related to carbon fuels & petro-fertilizers which have proven to be approaching a downward slope of availability. You think it's a shame people are starving now? At what price per barrel oil will alternate energy be worth investing (hint, it wasn't $140). And once at that price, at what time scale would it take to convert our vast driving & farming infrastructure to it? Food for thought...

  • 100% correct, I honestly cant see the human race avoiding large amounts of death from people that dont have the buying power to purchase food or land to farm. The solution i have seen that might save a large amount of people is from The Venus Project, which basically declares the worlds resources as the peoples then gives everyone what they need. I know it sounds like communism but its not like anything in place in any country today. Check out youtube . com/watch?v=RVOPkGAtt48 - amazing lol

  • Yeah that was a wild video. It was so pure and honest it seemed alien! In today's world you couldn't 'rough it out' if you wanted to. Think about it, you go to the forest to make a cabin and you are on national forest territory. You have to apply for a permit for a limited amount of wood chopping. You need a hunting license and get maybe 1 or 2 deer tags approved. You would need septic tank and sewage treatment regulation compliance. Your land isn't zoned for farming, on and on.

  • i know its pretty insane, especially when we consider that land (in australia anyway) was just stolen from the indigenous people who lived on it. That dude is 93 now! His more recent stuff is even more mind boggling. Check out some of his lectures or something. If you want a good free video to watch about the world check out Zeitgeist addendum - basically shows whats wrong and how we can fix it. Theres also a nice big activist movement that's come about from it.

  • Preach on brother.

  • some ones gotta do it

  • Hopey Changey ..YES WE CAN!!!

    YES WE CAN!!!

    C'mon everyone with me now...

    HOPEY CHANGEY

YES WE CAN!!! YES WE CAN!!!

    What's the...what's the matter???

    Nobody is chanting.

    I'm George Bush...miss me now?

  • Um, no, I miss Hillary Clinton.

  • Right. We need someone to tell us everything is fine already. "Mission Accomplished". Turn the TV back on. Turn it up!

Just as many people bought Dubya's BS. It's just that Obama had beter PR, and was more well-spoken.

We need to stop buying the whole multitude of BS we are constantly bombarded with, and...

more and more of us are on our way...

  • George Bush left a toilet bowl FULL of shit, piss, puke and toilet paper for someone ELSE to flush - and now that it won't go down it's Obama's fault? You're a fucking idiot SecretCreed - people like you and politicians you support would only make matters worse - that's a FACT.

  • The only FACT, is that you're a moron who hasn't done an ounce of research into how the financial meltdown actually occured. It had NOTHING to do with Bush but it sure had a lot to do with a lot of liberal Dems.

I take it you voted for the current POTUS, which makes you an asshole who didn't do any research on him either.

  • SecretCreed, you're friends with ADFX21 - you're the most microscopic of pinheads. 'Nuff said.

  • Have a big cup o' hopey changey, you'll feel a whole lot better.

    Drink deep.

And don't forget to BOW before me...YOUR President would.

  • Yeah good one you conservative fucking RETARD.

  • Yea, it was wasn't it, ya left wing NUTJOB.

  • the problem is you all think politics are gonna save you lol. Did you all vote for the iraq war? or maybe you just voted to send another 30,000 troops to afghanistan? Democracy is a joke. There is so much corporate power behind it, Hoping for change is like pissing in the wind. Good luck with all that i hope no more of you presidents decide to wipe their arse with your constitution. OH NO TERROR!!!!!! rahh!!! aaannd ill just be taking away some peoples human rights now. Watch Zeitgeist Addendum

  • don't forget about the orientation guide and the lectures! :)

  • @Bradtomshore Anyone who falls for that piece of crap Zeitgeist movie is a credulous fool. Look up any of the debunking Zeitgeist sites and see how absurd it is. Don't just dismiss them. Actually be objective. It's rubbish.

  • @newcoyote True, true.

  • @Bradtomshore you dont get it its still democracy. Its just Demo-corporationism lol. If you have more money, you then have more votes. Thats it bro.

  • @Bradtomshore Yes It time for new social system. It's time for Venus Project. But do you still have time? From my experience I recommend watch Future by design and then Z:Addendum. Then more people understand this also faster.

  • @mafiasty dont forget the new film in jan :)

  • I reached that conclusion on 12 Sept 2001 when Congress said they would not issue a Declaration of War.

  • *rolling my eyes*

Here's a deal.. you can keep ranting and raving about the big faceless "corporations" (yeah, that'll be effective), and I'll continue to mock the destructive individuals in positions of power.

  • I've said it once I'll say it countless times: People don't change things, they adapt to problems which are caused by change. If you adapt to counteract something that isn't actually a problem, your usually doing more harm then good. This case is no different then any other.

  • Hope and Change! Hope and Change!

Now the change is leaving us hopeless.

  • uh oh... be prepared to be admonished by the "Both sides are the same. Corporations are eeeeeeeeeeeevil" borg.

  • The best movie poster for this movie would be Nancy Pelosi's face

  • Wait, are you saying bad things about this movie, or are you saying bad things about movies like 2012? I want to argue with you really bad, but I'm not sure if I can!

  • I agree. I can't wait to see this

  • Comment removed

  • This deserves a wide audience but most peeps are gonna opt for the other disaster movie, 2012. I personally cannot wait to see Collapse.
