  • just out of curiosity, how were you able to get into the section of the second class dinning room that survived?

  • no the queen mary isnt hasunted at all jason n grant their team debunked it n said it wasnt hainted at all n someon even tried to trick them but they caught on n said that someone pulled the bed sheets off of the bed n paused the cammera n pulled em off again. soo no the ship isnt haunted

  • I stay for three days in the Hotel Queen Mary in the '90's it was cool, really enjoyed this video. I had plenty of time to tour this beauty. I remember ordering a room service gourmet pizza for supper it was fantastic!

  • what does finished with engines mean,, Nice Vid :D

  • Very nice video! I am a big fan of the Queen Mary and use every opportunity to walk on her decks. Just produced two Tributes to this beautiful ocean liner. Please check it out if you like.

  • Wow!

  • I have never been to Long Beach before, but would like to take a trip with my husband. If we stayed on the Queen Mary would we need to rent a car to get around or is everything close enough to walk or take a quick cab ride?

  • @baby5968 There is a free shuttle bus to get to Long Beach. It only takes you 10 minutes. However, for the greater area of Long Beach and Los Angeles you should rent a car. You can also take several boat taxis to go to other beaches. The Queen Mary is located a little bit outside of Long Beach but easy accessible, with the mentioned free shuttle.

  • So nothing about it being haunted?

  • @EmoIssues I went through the Queen Mary as a tour guide and also with the making of the video as video-ographer and never felt, saw or heard anything unusual, even when going through alone, so due to this (non)experience and the fact that my vids are purely visual, I left out the supposed accounts and stories of others...although the engine room video scenes came out so distorted and dark, I had to use the still pics instead!!!

  • @latourguide ah i see

  • @latourguide Thank you for posting this, its nice to see real stuff and not that crap about it being hunted. I really like how you got a shot of the ships controls amazing how far we've come. When you look at this, then modern day cruise ships it's like wow. Thanks for posting cool tour

  • @EmoIssues

Click on 3:23 for your ghosts...

  • @southmtn2000 oh hahaha >.<

  • @EmoIssues

So you are a believer ?

  • @southmtn2000 I suppose

  • My grandmother came to America on this ship! :)

I'd love to take her to California to go see it... but unfortunately, we live in ohio, and are broke. lol

  • RMS Queen Mary, SS Poseidon. Two ships that are one in the same. Long live Queen Mary! Hail, Queen Mary!

  • @SuperTitanicfreak To say nothing of how many times she's been the Titanic!

  • We are so lucky that this ship was not scrapped like so many other great ocean liners

  • I used to work on the QM in 1974/75 with Carl Felix, Carl Taylor, Bob Sailor, Jerry Geoff, Mike Shay, Larry Dressel. I remember all the nice tour guides too... May Pan is one Hmmmm So many..

  • I know they don't move it from there, but is there a possibility of making it operate again?

  • @isra036 The chances of this are slim to none. The original funnels and lifeboats were removed, and replaced with copies, Cunard Line (her original owners) demanded her engines be removed, so she couldn't be put back in service in competition with Cunard (only one original engine is still on board). Also, Cunard sold Queen Elizabeth 2 after 40 years of service because she was getting old, and tough to maintain. Imagine how tough it will be to repair, and maintain a 77 year old ship!

  • @Fatstratmatt96 You're right. It would be easier and cheaper to get a new one.

  • I went there in 2006.

  • This Ship is Grand and The most famous Ocean liner When You Gte on borad U feel your in the Past! I have Always wanted to stay there!

  • She is an ocean liner, not a cruise ship. There is a big difference.

  • How'd you get down into the Pig N' Whistle?

  • Cool ship. I've stayed aboard countless times, and I love the observation lounge. The Sunday brunch is one of the best anywhere--my prom was held in that room about 36 years ago. Thanks for posting.

  • wasnt the Queen Mary almost modeld after the Titanic? except she had enough lifeboats unlike Titanic

  • @bigkevcxza No,the ship had a very different design

  • @AmericanEvita Beethoven's 3rd Symphony ("Eroica"), 3rd movement.

  • im staying ono the queen mary on christmas day in the royalty suite then bording the cruise the next day

  • All that is left is the grandness of her shell and a few rooms and the parts that could make money. She was stripped upon arrival and all was sold for cash at auction. She could never sail again - too bad.

  • Very nice video! I remembered when I was on her decks and did the tour for the first time. I felt back in time and was dreaming of a passage from Southampton to New York, during the golden age of the ocean liners. Have a look at my Queen Mary videos too.
