I've never seen any freight trains on that line, only Amtrak trains, although UP does own the line. The quad-gate setups are nice.

i saw these's crossings on my way to chicago and though what the hell are quad gates doing there in the middle of nowhere

then it hit me its the high speed

st louis-chicago line lol i heard by 2015 they want to be going over 115 on this line wow that would be cool

i saw that train in chucago union station and the last car was 10001 beech grove which is amtrak's business car

I love the quad gates and that was the WIERDIEST Texas Eagle I have ever seen. Nice video, though. YOU NEED A TRIPOD!!!!!

The speed limit is like 90 mph for passenger trains now on that line. They upgraded it to a high speed mainline like the BNSF in the west.
