I really love this, it's very inspiring .. I'm planning to go to Morocco some time next year. I wanted to ask you though how did you guys go to Volubilis and Moulay Idriss, is there a bus or train that goes there?
There are a few different ways of getting there, I did alot of research and figured the best way for us was to rent a car. We rented a car in Fez for a couple of days and drove to Meknes, Volubilis, and Moulay Idriss one day (they're very close, especially by Canadian standards when it comes to distance), and the next day we drove to the Atlas mountains (Sefrou, Ifrane, Immouzer)
I like this video and I suggest that you come south next time. South to places like Tafraoute, Taroudant, Tata, Ouarzazate, Zagora...which are quite different from locations in the north of Morocco. The music is amazing and I would like to hear more from Luai Hanna. I live in Taroudant, and your video has encouraged me to visit Fez!
Great video Bahador! I'm glad you had a good time and love it as much as I do! So funny, being hassled when you're with your white friends, I got hassled with my African American friend, most notably the daughter, she was dressed appropriately, but obviously American. Nobody hassles me when I'm alone!
Yeah I know it's the same with me, I never get hassled to buy stuff at the markets if I am alone, even though I am not Moroccan they just assume I am. We just decided to pretend like I was a Moroccan tour guide, that way I can walk with any "white / western looking" friend of mine and nobody would hassle us to buy anything!
I have lived in Taroudant, Morocco since I became 65. I often see busloads of tourists going about town as a pack, and many of them are elderly. I advise you to not delay in coming to Morocco; don't wait until you are too old to really take it all in. Incidentally, it is really best to not join a tour group, and there is no danger in a female travelling on her own.
Nice video ! great country ! you should go there to see and to feel the beauty of Morocco !! I'am very proud to be from there !! Thanks for sharing !

A good place to get started is in buying a good guidebook, such as The Rough Guide-Morocco, which I use and recommend.
