all u guys trashing them for useing tanks are just mad that u cant affourd all that gear i spearfish i both freedive and scubadive i would like to see u guys go down 130 feet on one breath and shoot then fight the fish and get back to the surface i think if ur going any deeper then 75 feet u have the right to use a tank but any higer like from surface-75 feet u should only freedive but also what if there was a old man that couldnt freedive any more but loved spearfishing he would scuba so fuck u
You YoYos. Some people do free dive in the Gulf of Mexico but most of the fish are taken way out of range of a free diver. You should know what you are talking about before running your mouths.
spearfishing with scuba gear may be authorized in the US, but it's stupid because the fish doesn't have a chance... that's why in most countries it is prohibited.
when you're able to dive 70 to 100 feet without an oxygen tank, then you're really spearfishing!
