  • I have an original N64 and i was just playing banjo tooie right now...i wanted to know how to make the evil bottles appear? Do i need to restart or use a differen Save file?

is it a function that the N64 is capable of? (I do have a 2nd controller and all the multiplayer characters are unlocked) So.....Help?

  • @XcameronX18 it is not in the N64 version hackers found this in the games original beta and released it in the rom version sorry emulator only

  • sweet.you could even use it for two player co-op.

  • so... does this mean there's co-op?

  • I wish they kept this in the game O.o

  • ''Oh dear, just how evil are you?'' - Banjo

''Evil enough. I will use my sinister abilities to posses weak minded creatures as you play....'' - Devil Bottles.

    ''COOL!'' - Kazooie.

Priceless, Kazooie. Just priceless XD! She's so funny XD!

  • evil bottles?

  • This is how Blizzard got the idea of mounts :O

The bird caries a freakin Bear

  • Is this possible on the original N64 using a Gameshark? Can you please PM me the Gameshark codes, too?

  • How did you do this?

  • This game has the best dialogue. A lot of my best insults and comebacks are from Kazooie. I love asking people "I suppose you think you're clever, don't you?"

  • @xx13angelina13xx banjo isnt on the Wii and never will be

  • @afatlemur2010 It is if you have homebrew...

  • *coughyoushouldallshutthehellupcough*

  • i love beta bottles revenge mode! (project 64 called it that, now its a habit for me).

too bad i don't have a second controller for my computer :( i need to go buy one.

  • Originally, Evil Bottles WAS accessible in the actual game, it was said that supposedly, the spell wasnt meant to kill him, but raise a devil spirit or.. Something like that. He was suppose to possess any enemy using the second controller, but after a while in creating the game, they scrapped it, thankfully, not fully. Even with out a Gameshark, you can view his talking head (whatever you wanna call it) In Gruntys Trivia GAme. I forgot what thats called as well, but this is a true story.

  • I can't get enough of Banjo Tooie's graphics

  • it's not in the XBLA release, i have it.

  • *coughmariogalaxycough*

  • @MaskedN6732 are u saying , WHAT these were made(kinda) by the same componie (dont correct me bitch)

so there is no stealing if ur trying to say that.... but if ur just refrencing resemblance fuck yea spot on

  • @TheSonicman15 I was saying that the devil botttles mode resembles the co-star

    luna in mario galaxy.

  • His unique hability was to play with a friend on the same game ^^

  • My shits are more evil than that Bottles could ever be... fuck... he possessed one!

  • It would drive me crazy to see that evil jerk over my head constantly

  • Is It Just Me Or Could This Have Been For Stop N Swop?

  • This is is the best. Easter egg. Ever.

  • OMG!!!! ITS EVIL BOTTLES!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Aww geez... Devil Bottles would've been beast to play in this game. XD

  • i liked bottles before he died...someone should tell dead bottles to stop creepin on banjo and kazooie like that

  • Love this soundtrack to this game!

  • That's a bit odd....how the dialogue is still there, as well as evil bottles....who looks pretty complete.

  • @baahhhFATALITY11 He may have been complete, but they ran out of time to test and debug it,so they removed it.

  • Could someone please tell me a how to and where to order Banjo Tooie by mail? I can't order it by computer D:

  • Reminds me of the Counter-Op mode in the original Perfect Dark. Rare seems to like using that idea...

  • OH DEAR, OH DEAR! BANJO IS THAT ALL THE HECK YOU SAY?!! Oh Dear Kazooie you don't have to be mean.... Thats it.... IM FINDING ANOTHER BEAR!

  • @Blooperguy229 You can go find Yogi. He'll take care of the problem real fast...

  • @ROBLOXChris Oh lol! Thats funny! But its true! What do u mean by that anyway?

  • @Blooperguy229 Well think back to that epic Yogi Bear movie. He helped save the zoo so surely he'll save Spiral mountain from a devil mole.

  • @ROBLOXChris Oh. Well it was a cool movie! Even though it got bad reviews...I still liked it! But if Yogi saw the carrot he'd be" OH FOOD!"

  • it is in the xbla version you just have to complete the stop and swoop feture as it also unlocks jinjo as a playable multiplayer charachter and somthing else i forget....(and fyi it is possible to do stop an swoop on the original n64 version it just has to b done in under 3 secconds)

  • Wait, can you have Player 2 control an enemy and then have that enemy fight other enemies while you're in control?

  • SNS SNS SNS!

  • When I was playing the tower of tragety quiz evil bottles was one of the icons on the side...this is real (:

  • Awesome!

  • WHAAAAAAAT? DEVIL BOTTLES ISNT IN XBLA? >:|

  • how do you find devil bottles

  • Finally, it's official. Player two is EVIL!!!

  • this could've been great if you wanted to play with a friend that hated your guts

  • HOW THE HELL DID YOU GET DEVIL BOTTLES

  • Did Rare make Devil Bottles accessible in the XBLA version?

  • @d3structi As far as I know, they didn't include it in the XBLA re-release. Then again I don't own that version. But if it was a bonus in the XBLA version, they would have stressed that point and advertised on it, and I never heard about it, so I suppose it's not in the XBLA one.

  • @Kafei2006 do you know why they didtn finish it and why they left it there

  • @flameheat1000 My conclusion is that what's left in BK N64 version is not entirely completed but nearly, otherwise they would have even removed the passwords to get the eggs. If you get the eggs however, you can NEVER erase them, and no matter which save file you load, if you got any of the eggs on one, it'll appear on ALL save files. Maybe it's been done that way only for testing purposes and would have been refined more for the final release, and maybe what is still there would work completely

  • @Kafei2006

The eggs come from the infamous Stop'n'Swop. A complex and at that time, revolutionary system that would have worked with the 64DD; an add-on device made to ''fuse'' two games together... Had it been published normaly, you would have start playing with BK to then swap it with BT. Saddly the project of the add-on was abandonned and thus, Stop'n'swop was never brought to life....

  • @Kafei2006

At the end of BK, once you get the 100 jiggies, Mumbo shows you three locations; two of eggs and ove of the ice key. He then says you'll know how to get those once you'd get your hands on BT. There, codes would have been given to you along with four others for four ''new'' eggs. Those eggs were meant to represent special features, exclusivities for those who owned both games.

  • @Kafei2006

Devil Bottles was part of them... He was supposed to be aviable through two players mode where the other player has to slow Banjo down by taking control over an ennemy. Why it was took out s believed to be time shortage...

sorry for that long post, mate

  • @flameheat1000 They ran out of time to debug it before the release,so they made it unaccessable normally.

  • @d3structi No, as the4J Studios, who developed the XBLA version, said they only intended to make a faithful port of the N64 version instead of revise it.

  • @d3structi he was avalble then they took him out

  • this game was so good

  • i glad this feature stayed hidden, if it was in the game ppl would use it to make the game easier instead, and thats just cheating (its for the gameshark, so yeah, its a cheat)

  • i would be nice if the included this(both the N64 and XBL versions)

  • Is this on the XBL Marketplace version?

  • @jlm192000 ha balls no!

  • why is it that no matter how much i look i cant fucking find this code lol can u put it in the description plz

  • Game Over for this game:

Banjo goes back to the soul of Bottle to tell that he failed. Then Bottles changes into an evil spirin and hits Banjo with that 3-toped thing through him, GAME OVER press any key to restart

  • its incredible the amount of great ideas rare had... i mean banjo kazooie and tooie are incredible games they have an excellent gameplay, and amazing story, excellent controllers and so many secrets!!! i just wish my nintendo would still work so i could play this great games over and over a again

  • so this wasn't really in the game on the N64?

  • @Finaldestinybattle It was, but not accessible through normal ways. You need a Gameshark or Action Replay device and codes for those to access this hidden feature.

  • that's actually a really good idea.

  • is this shit even in the game????????????????

  • nice

  • He doesn't seem THAT evil.

  • Banjo: How evil are you?

    Bottles: Evil enough.

    lol!

  • the dialogue in this game, it's true poetry :P

  • i dont remember this part o.o

  • So, what happens when Bottles is revived?

  • Apparetnly the coding for this is still ingering in the actual Nintendo 64, as speech and coding for Bottles is apparent. In the Tower of Terror tirivia game, it uses random characters from the game to voice over the choices, and sometimes Devil Bottles would appear. I think I heard somewhere on the Project 64 website that this was supposed to be a huge part of the game, and that Player 2 was originally to have the option of controlling bosses as well.

  • this is weird i have pj64 and i got banjo tooie but it doesnt work is there any way to make it work.

  • @lilbigslash looks like an eyesore I wouldn't be able to see anything behind bottles and his fat self

  • how do you get projct 64

  • @krazylaws Download it, but if you have Avast! Free version... dont download it or you get a BFV - Big fucking virus - Sorry if my english is bad ((U can found it on Google easely))

  • @Robo1174555 LOLZ

  • How did that happen?

  • This would make going against Grunty an all other bosses a pain in the ass.

  • why is bottles attacking banjo?

  • hay el topis que lendo ist suntnay gotajilen gud gud nay

  • damn, this would have made a great co-op/competitive adventure mode.

  • @lightninstriker10 i agree but how about a multiplayer where 1 player is banjo and the other kazooie? that sounds like a good multiplayer

  • @lilprogamer well.. yes and no, generally when you play co-op, your partner player has the same attributes and abilities as you.

  • eso fue editado o que onda

  • Gotta love Kazooie!

  • Heh, I love how Banjo's bearly fazed by Evil Bottles. :P

  • can you get this on the original game for n64 or only emulator?

  • @Joeant20 You can get it on your computer because it was still in the game code, which comes from the cartridge. So yeah, you can get it to happen in the game too, but you need a gameshark device

  • @Kafei2006 oh ok thanks

  • It would be perfect for a co-op adventure with the second player to never die and posses anything he wishes.

  • But... couldn't your friend just help you fight the bad guys instead if they wanted?

  • lol

  • What Happends If Jamjars And Bottles Mother See's Him?

  • just tell us the code for crying out loud

  • Did you at least try to find it ? It's already in every cheat file bundled with project64 1.6. If you're asking for the code, then you didn't even try by yourself, because it's there ! Just run the game and go in the cheats menu and there you have it.

  • @Kafei2006 Found it first time i played.. though it got a little annoying having someone follow me through out the game i restarted :D. Kafei2006 is right its in the cheats menu

  • @Kafei2006

Just tell him the code, you fiendish ghoul...

  • @papanurgle38

    Beta Bottles Revenge Mode

    801255C2 0001

    80080881 0002

    Happy Now?

  • That is so fucking epic! How do you do it?

  • @IHugShortPeople Hacks. It was gonna be included in the game.

  • How the hell did you get your Banjo-Tooie rom to work? I tried it on Project 64 and it lagged like hell, and froze a lot.

  • ok. Wat Project64 did u use? 1.6?1.5? vuz I got 1.7 and wat banjo tooie ROM did u use? uz I really freakin want this cheat sooooooooooooooo much!!!!

  • "Unlike the others on youtube i could found, it has the original sound effects and music"

Now THAT'S what I'm talking about !! All these moronic fucks are shame with their ghey assed music. I so wish I still had the drivers for my Leadtek capture card, I could've been a youtube hero =\=\=\

Fraps is so sluggish, I can barely emulate l0l. Great vid !! Already comes with this code, it's so neat l0l.

  • I didn't have a capture card at the time. Used camstudio and project 64 on a modest PC (P4 3.2 Ghz, Win XP, PJ64 1.6, 128Mo Asus Xtreme series graphic card).

Fraps is shitty. Cam Studio can be very good when correctly parametered.

  • ahah. I just got a Dell that's like half a decade old, so go figure xD I've never xperienced more than 512MB of RAM..and the CPU is 2.2gHZ..props yo great upload !

  • how that....? wtf

  • Comment removed

  • Evil Bottles still has the old one's Windscreen wiper voice..

  • Cool!

  • is it possible to do this with just the traditional game and system?

  • @tateebug I'm sorry, I don't think so.

  • no, impossible :D

  • awsome!

  • do u think u could get me a banjo tooie rom that works for project 64 cuz the one i have wont work and ive been looking everywhere!!!

  • Normally any BT rom should work with PJ64, otherwise you're playing on a too old version. Then get version 1.6.

If you're still experiencing issues, try to find one with a [!] in the filename, which means it's a "certified good dump". Use google for that. You can find them anywhere.

  • ok thanks

  • PROJECT 64 EMULATOR

  • And how did they send cheat codes into the 64 when there's no keyboard?

  • I remember seeing this part while playing on N64 without GameShark, but I don't remember Player 2 being able to control Evil Bottles then...

Maybe you do need a GameShark for that

  • Pick up honey to boost your energy.

  • talk about a weird version of multiplayer. that would be like in Mario 64 if you had a lakitu constantly throwing shit at you, controlled by the other player....or something like that.

i wonder how it would have worked if rare compleated this in time. you think youd get to possess and play as the bosses?

  • @foxfire945 the fact that they couldnt get it to work on bosses was the reason they scraped the idea

  • code please?

  • its a code already on pj64 bt when you install it

  • AWESOME!!!

  • how do you get it?

  • Evil Bottles: With my evil possession powers, I can make your friend screw up your whole game.

    Kazooie: You fiendish ghoul!

    Evil Bottles: INORITE?!

  • It was supposed to be, but it was all buggy, wasn't working, and they wanted to release Banjo-Tooie in time, so they just decided to cut it out. You can get it like this using GameShark codes.

  • Dude that is fucking cool :D

  • That's pretty cool. :D

  • So, that's when Evil Bottles appears. I saw his face [as a multiple choice] in the Tower of Tradegy Quiz mini-game, and that made me think, "Is Evil Bottles a side-boss to fight?"

Well, now I found out it's just a hidden multiplayer thing.

    Thanks for the info. :)

  • cool u have 2 use a game shark 2 do this.

  • so this cant be done without a gameshark? :(

  • no you dont have to you can try this right now just download this on your pc by downloading project64, then go to doproms and download banjotooie U(!)file thats how did this you can do this with your gameshark I,ve done it that way to, dont really matter which.

  • i dont remember this part

  • it works with a second controller

  • evil bottles might have been activated by stop and swap if they didn't take it out

  • the "evil bottles" feature was scrapped before the release. it allowed you to, after beating the game, play as bottles evil spirit. as bottles you could possess enemies including bosses to attempt to hinder banjo on his quest. as i previously mentioned, it was scrapped as the only boss the team at rare got to work was king kole. i forget how, but i know that the unfinished game mode is still accesable.

  • wikipedia is not to be trusted fool

  • then you have learned NOTHING, tyca129.

  • You do realize that you can be expelled for that.

  • i cant remeber this part..

  • that looks fun XD

  • Well the game was announced for XBLA for April 2009 and I believe that this feature will be available. I hope.

  • Im confused. I bought the came used, and saw that there were playable scenes, one of which is called evil bobbles. I didn't want to ruin what would happen next for me or my bro. But I beat the game (not all jiggy's though, 71) and it was replaced with bobbles and jingaling restored. Where did it go!? How did you do this? Man, I shoulda watched it when I had the chance. Why does is disappear forever from the game once I beat it? Help!

  • I think i might have a piece of answer. First of all, how i did it : using gameshark codes. it's there, in the game code but absolutely no regular way of accessing it exist. You HAVE to cheat to see this; using a special device.

Now, concerning you used copy : my guess would be that the former owner of the game cartridge had found a way (maybe using a gameshark or AR device) to access it through the scene select menu and had saved it on the cartridge...

  • but after you achieved the scene in the game that was supposed to be at the place evil bottles was in your copy in the menu, it was replaced by this particular regular scene. I know it's a twisted guess, but i've seen this type of thing before in other games where beta features remain hidden in the game code, and i just can't come up with another explanation. Just hope this helped.

  • You know other cheat? I have Bottle's Revenge; Infinite> Air/Energy; Select Level; and change characters (Banjo, Kazooie, Mumbo & the transformations).

  • did anyone notice the blue egg in the bottom right corner of the screen?

  • as far as i know it's a consequence of the use of action replay codes. It appears also when i use the "use L to levitate" code.

  • ya weird

  • Ive played both games through, in neither I have NEVER witnessed Bottles being evil. Yet it is quite odd...

  • Kazooie:why is bottels in hell?

    Banjo:bottles liked little boys

  • banjo makes a deal with the devil for two player?
