  • its rotting!

    ZOG is the enemy!

  • glad to be in hillbilly country Nebraska

  • Obama really needs to be a one term president... Sorry, but that's just the reality of this. I voted for him, but it was a disappointment.

  • @MrRobertGulabo In 2012, vote Dance Party!

    BionicDance for President!

  • OMG!!!

  • How's that Hopey Changey thing workin out for ya?

  • can anyone say Technological Unemployment. we wont have this problem when the monetary system fails. lets hope we switch to a Resource based economy.

Resource-Based Economy was originated by Jacque Fresco. It is a system in which all goods and services are available without the use of money, credits, barter or any other system of debt or servitude. All resources become the common heritage of all of the inhabitants, not just a select few.

  • we gave it all to china ,thats why there economy is exploding

  • @jewls323 Also would like to ad that they are becomong more capitalistic and America is becoming less capitalistic, and more socialistic, and that is why we are declining while China is improving

  • Interesting map. Unemployment is roughly correlated to Democratic government, and everything gets a lot worse after Obama takes office.

  • I wonder what it looks like now? Economy has, slowly but surely, been improving.

  • Yea but the grey is where we get the soilders from......

  • to bad I sould have just get fired then I can go get unemployment and act like i looking for a job get a check for two year while i kickit then get food stamp on top of that lol there really alot son of a Bi*chs that do this it really kind of piss me off why the hell I got bust my ass while they... sit on there I don get it but I guess that the way it go

  • when people cant find work they get desparate. we all know what's next! And guess what people "EVEN AFTER PRESIDENT OBAMA IS GONE". Unemployment will not go down. It will hover around 8% to 10% FOR YEARS TO COME.

Protect Ya Neck Shit Is Just Starting To Get Ugly Folks. Yawl aint seen SHIT YET!!!

  • The broader point raised by Mr. RadarKat73080 and Mr. Jjrglobal is about taxes, not income taxes. A common occurrence is for a local government to grant a long tax holiday to a company to establish a facility. With the company and its owners exempt from taxes, the only option for a local government to pay for police/fire/schools is to raise the sales tax. In that case, Mr. RadarKat73080 is not quite accurate in his point- everyone in the community pays the taxes the company owner is not paying.

  • Because Mr. RadarKat73080 stated the tax issue in a brief, simple way, but Mr. Jjrglobal is simply wrong to say that everyone who works a minimum wage pays no income tax. Working 40 hours a week, 52 weeks a year at minimum does add up to an annual income below the point at which Federal income taxes kick in, but minimum wage workers often work overtime, have a second job, or are the second person in a household working. In all those cases, having to pay Federal income taxes is likely.

  • This is a result of going green.

  • @meidc

This is the result of going greed.

    *fixed

  • Water = Money

    Faucet = Source of Money

    Sink = Economy

    Ice = Savings

Water Vortex = Circulation of money trading with goods and services

    Water Vapor = Virtual money

Drain = Money out of reach

Good economy: High amount of water vortex, condensation of water vapor, connecting the drain back to the faucet, minimal use of the faucet, minimizing leakage into the drain.

  • Listen folks - you can all blather on about whose fault it is, but until we fix our system, no President, Democrat or Republican, can fix the economy.

    We need to:

    * reinstate the Glass-Steagall act and break up the big multi-nationals

    * reform our campaign and election systems. Send the lobbyists packing.

    * stop using the failed economic policies of the lat 30 years. nothing is trickling down except piss.

    * fix health care. We can't compete with other countries until we do.

  • jjrglobal:

"I 've never heard of anything trickling up!"

Neither have I. That's because money and economies don't 'trickle'. They (hopefully) grow.

Top-down economics is a joke. When you build a house, do you start from the roof, or the foundation? Which comes first, blades of grass, or the roots?

    DEMAND drives economies, not supply.

The fastest way for your boss to go broke is if his customers don't have money. He doesn't sell squat and you're SOL.

  • For the "honor" of working for some rich guy at minimum wage, we also get to pay the taxes he isn't! Wonderful!

  • Really, I wasnt aware that minimum wage employees paid any taxes whatsoever. In fact I know they dont pay any income taxes whatsoever, so what the fuck are you talking about? What you could do is strive to better yourself, or better yet get some balls and start your own business instead of blaming your pathetic plight on everyone else.

  • @bushputz

unfortunately the government is not a foundation to build an economy on, entrepreneurs and business are the foundation to build an economy on, considering the government produces nothing

  • jjrglobal:

What happens when you give tax breaks to the rich? Do they reinvest it in their businesses?

Maybe, but mostly, they either save or invest it.

This takes money out of circulation and causes stagnation.

If you're going to give tax breaks, give them to the middle and lower classes. They will spend it all on things like food, clothing, and shelter, and that money will get injected directly into the economy, thereby stimulating growth.

  • Yeah, those military welfare bums!

  • Change you can beleive in.

  • So much for federal stimulus programs saving or creating jobs. Insert head into ass.

  • A major problem is the way our system is set up, Obama is not immune. We didn't just need to get rid of Bush but we needed to over-haul our entire system. Corporations own our government, ALL politicians are bought and sold by lobbyists, greed, corruption. I do wish Obama would stop with all the bi-partisan nonsense, he is too nice and he cares too much about public opinion, cares too much about HIS political career....and not enough about solving problems (and why I voted for Hillary).

  • Republicans keep blocking pres. Obama's every effort for progress, and he can't, legally, do much all by himself....as it is, they call him a socialist (as if that is bad), or a communist, and worse, can you imagine if he even tried to make changes without bipartisan support? I can see "Faux" News having a field day with that....even if it was in the public's best interest!

  • The monolithic republicans you are talking about do not exist the meaningful resistance he is receiving is from democrats. If he didn't say things like "redistributive change" and "spread the wealth around" and hire people who call themselves communists and people who think Mao is a cool guy to look up to they wouldn't call him a socialist or a communist. Bush and Obama 6 in one hand half dozen in the other- we are still in 2 wars and our economy is still sinking.

  • @jjrglobal Obama is very pro-business. Stop making things up.

  • You don't know what you're talking about. In the final analysis, these policies will help business and the overall economy. Especially small business.

  • explain how all this government spending well help. all it is going to do is inflate the dollar and the only people that well survive this is large corporations.

  • @zakattak80 You explain it. You're wrapped up in anti-government sentiment, as if the government can't do good things within an economy.

  • no not anti-government, it's limited government. it's simple, the government has printed more money in the past two years then they have in history. all this excess money in the market well devalue the dollar(which is happening at the moment) if the government continues to print money it is very likely that hyperinflation well take hold and that well collapse the economy

now you explain how it would benefit the economy?

  • fear fear fear. Did you complain while the GOP spent like drunken sailors on an elective war?

  • yes they spent to much on the war but obama is spending money on the same war so it's irrelevant. obama has spent more then bush ever has in his eight years. they both put us in this position, bush started and obama is continuing the spending spree

  • @jjrglobal Anyone who wastes all this time spreading lies like you do needs psychiatric assistance.

  • @jjrglobal I am busy doing work right now. I'm sorry I'm not retired like you with all this time to spread right-wing propaganda.

  • @jjrglobal What's wrong with being a Wal•Mart greeter?

  • There's plenty wrong with being a Walmart greeter, or doing any other job for that corporation.

Trouble is, many people don't have a choice.

Walmart has been going into communities across America for decades, wiping out small local businesses and killing competition. They force suppliers to give and give until they're no longer able to make a profit. They treat their employees like serfs, and pull money out of the local economy.

Working for Walmart is like being forced to dig your own grave.

  • Wal-mart sucks! 21st century plantation!

  • @bushputz dont forget their dead peasant insurance policy :)

  • 1. "Small local businesses" are for the most part grossly inefficient and even more avaricious than WalMart. Who has a higher profit margin? Not WalMart.

    2. If their employees don't like it, let them find work elsewhere. When I lived in America, I had the good fortune to shop at WalMart. I did so to save a few dollars every week, not to finance an opulent existence for some unskilled laborer. At the time, a few dollars a week made all the difference.

    I <3 U, WALMART. LET'S BE 2GETHER 4EVER <3

  • @bushputz quit fuckiing hate walmart they have created thousands of jobs, how many jobs in the small businesses combined? how many jobs in a walmart? minimum wage? 5.15... how much did i make at walmart? 11.50...

  • @OrogDeMalfur Walmart destroys jobs and then replaces them with razor blade employment.

  • @Keith11468 how? putting walmarts in small towns? maybe the drug store shouldnt charge such high prices for shit, besides, those drug stores dont create enough jobs for everyone else. plus they shell out a decent wage for people, i made 11.50 moving boxes

  • We are in a recovery though!!

    ^sarcasm

  • I'd like to see a chart showing the transfer of wealth from the middle class to the ultra rich and see how it correlates with the map.

  • It would look like this: the country would become less green while Detroit, New York and DC would becoming more green.

  • Me too. My wages have decreased as a teacher.

  • @WiseOne6969 You wouldn't even be able to see the dots of the ultra rich on the map it would be a map of the US with one solid color.

  • well, someone is in the money - but not me.

  • lol
