Berkely Castle is only about 30 minutes from Bristol by car and is well worth a visit, it is rich in history and has gorgeous grounds to stroll around to take in the atmosphere.
Fantastic video. I visited the castle in Dec 2004 along with St. Mary the Virgin Church and was impressed. My last Berkeley ancestor was Elizabeth Berkeley who died 28 Dec 1422.
