Wow... this is one of the best versions of the National Anthem I've ever heard! You made it so unique and your own. You also hit a lot of big notes that surprised me that you could hit. Those kind of notes can be hard to hit sometime.

when did the singing of the national anthem become a performance. It absolutely drives me insane. It was written one way. When you sing it at an event, you are providing a service, not a performance. Everyone in that place should be able to sing WITH you. Hand motions are performance cues and draw attention away from the real meaning of the song. A veteran once told me my singing of the anthem was the best he ever heard. Not because of me, but because I sang it straight through.

this girl can really sing well. I think she will go far. I liked the fact that most of the

audience visible in the video, had their hands over their hearts in proper respect for

the singing of the anthem. Several of the players shown also, but not all of them. I

wonder if they all know what the singing of this anthem means. they should have

more respect for this song, and be taught proper etiquette by their coaches

or even some grade school kids who know better. Shame on them.

Thanks for the friend request. It's amazing that you had th courage to perform in front of such a large crowd. You definitely have potential - if you want to do the singing seriously, I recommend singing lessons to help you develop on the technical side. That way you'll find it easier on then high notes and the breathing. I suggest an SLS trainer which is the kind I'll be using when I start taking lessons again. Best to you. And Merry Christmas!
