  • ahhhh the sound of that drum..love it..

  • lakefloating, I have this song on CD but this version is much better. I never tire of it, so, Thank you for uploading it. Cheers!

  • Two great musicians together.

  • images sux dude you shouldnt put those sluts it has nothing to do with kind of awesome music

  • and another thing...the song is about a 'perfect' situation going perfectly wrong...using these images to show perfect, happy, colorful moments just accentuates the menace implied by the song...it's like a bunch of little david lynch moments lol

  • i love how the visuals contrast with the song...it makes both more interesting, more textured...some people just can't handle juxtaposition i guess...

  • Super Music!

  • I was about to write "RTC" until the strange on-kilter tin pan alley percussion told me it wasn't steve - kewl

  • @atrios28: True. I've heard the Fripp/Sylvian version first and only began to really appreciate the song when hearing it on RTC. There's no song good enough to not be ruined by Mastelotto's bloody stove top drums!

  • Terrible visuals but great music

  • no relation between great music and glamour photos

  • wspaniały kawałek !!!

  • Great Sound. Thank you for upload. Love the Song. :-)

  • Congrats! GREAT!!!!!

  • haha the pictures are a bit off. Love the track ;)

  • great sound and images..swooning and sweet. Thanks for the post!

  • fantastic images. Well done.

  • Des it get any better than this gig in Japan???

  • About "Every colour you are": Is A work by Rain Tree Crow (Sylvian, Jansen, Karn, Barbieri. About "Damage": There is a japanish version "The first day" when Sylvian/Fripp plays "Exposure" By P. Gabriel (Great version)

  • Does anyone else think that D. Sylvian sounds too much like Brian Ferry in this one?

  • great images and song :-) special thanks to you thanks for your moments...increible gran video y cancion gracias por estos momento :-)

  • not as emotive as the original Raintree Crow version

  • why would you put words on it?

i dont even watchthe vidoe anyway, nice audio quality lol.

  • This is a nice and beautiful collage, Fripp o nots.

I personally prefer their solo-projects of the eighties, and uh well, that seems a taste-thing agaiin.

  • Fripp has nothing to do with that song.. As written below, it's a RAIN TREE CROW piece..

  • Stunning

  • 'Every Colour You Are' is NOT one of Sylvian/Fripp projects. It's from Japan reunion album 'Rain Tree Crow' from '92

  • Thank you

  • You're right concerning the original version.

But this is from Sylvian&Fripp live album "Damage" as you can hear Fripp's soundscapes that weren't on the RTC track.

  • Wonderful

  • Wonderful piece of music enhanced by some fab eclectic imagery. Thank u lakefloating

  • I love David Sylvian.

  • really enjoyed this...big sylvian/fripp/etc fan...thanks for making the effort to make this video!

  • This video has became one of my favorits. I see it each time I can. The pictures are beautiful, the voice of Sylvian is unique and give us all his feeling and talent. I love Sylvian!

  • Spectacular pictures that perfectly match the music. Both just touch a certain spot in your brain that gives a certain satisfaction. Thanks for your contribution

  • This version by Fripp/Sylvian is one of my favourite songs ever.

Damage is such an amazing record.

  • Every colour David Sylvian is...its a genial one for sure!!

Sylvian is a well of creativity.

  • cONGRATULATION YOUR PHOTOS ARE SPECTACULAR!

  • thank you

  • your welcome and congratulation!

  • @lakefloating

    Superb song...good pictures...

i love the music from David Sylvian, like also Robert Fripp & King Crimson...

    timeless & beautifull !

  • @dilullo random images lifted from google and put into software to create a template video are not 'your photos'

I say this as somone who's photos are stolen all day for this kind of crap.

In other news. Sylvian, At his best. Saw him 14 times between 79 and 87. Once since. Damn, Genius.

  • love the song anyway, but the images kinda miss the point... have u really listened to the lyric ?

  • this is a clumsy, awkward and nearly embarrasing video but great song

  • well, than just close your eyes and listen to the music... i was never pretending to be some genius... and did not make all those for anybodyelse but myself... for me it makes a lot of sence :) ...

  • well said mate.....I think it is fabulous

  • @lakefloating If it's true that you made this video for yourself and nobody else, then why bother posting it on youtube?! Sorry, but it just seemed an obvious question.

  • @lakefloating I like it, Lakefloating, and I like your username too.

It's hard to go wrong with a spectacular song like this.

    Props.

  • I totally agree .... this is one of the best songs ever written by one of the greatest artists of all times. But the video is completely ridiculous!

  • @Lokakuunmaa You DWEEEEBOID!!! ;D

  • sure i have listen to the words... but beside words are some other things... and all those blend together make a lot of sense... i don't expect anyone to catch any point...

  • @lakefloating Regardless of what Skippy thinks, (and I am a huge, longtime fan of Sylvians, having listened to him since the late 70s when he was in Japan) I love your video, and don't think you 'missed the point' at all.

    It is lovely.

  • I liked 1.50.

    Alot.

  • This song is originally taken from sessions beetween members of Japan, and published in CD under the name "RAIN,TREE CROW" in 1991.

During his collaboration with Robert Fripp, the title was played in concert and the live published in a limited cd edition in 1994.

It's the live version performed by David Sylvian and David Fripp.

  • Listen to Fripp go!

  • Perfect blend of sound and vision, stunningly beautiful. Thank you so much!

  • Originally off Rain Tree Crow.

  • Two album: Everything and nothing, Damage ( with Fripp )...Bye!

  • absolutely wonderful. that was so hypnotic it was incredible. THANKS.

  • YES................

  • this is muy beautiful. thank you for posting

  • you're welcome

I am glad when I can bring a little color and joy into the world...

  • Love your images! (Are those all yours?? Wow) Quite a change from the sepia on 'Rain Tree Crow'! Never head this live version before. This really works well. Viewed it full-screen (HQ) with my headphones. What a treat! Extraordinary. Thanks for sharing.

  • thanks JIM2u007... all imagines are from the internet...

this video has it's own special story...

i have received more than an year ago two lines from this song... and those two lines were, and still are a special gift for me... and this, along with the fact that i was really impressed by the song... made me do this...

this video was born out of love... and everything made with love is beautiful :)

  • ... :)

  • beautiful images, beautiful voice and beautiful song

  • i favourited your video some time ago, and visit here often, as it is on a playlist. so sorry that i have been remiss: very very lovely vidoe for another amazing song from sylvian. (thinks to herself hmm if someone would just make a video for "all tomorrows parties.)
