Let me give you my standpoint from a TF2 fan: the game is far from a TF2 clone. There's just a sad series of unavoidable coincidences when making class-based shooters in a remotely similar art style. And that's without taking the radically different gameplay into consideration.

Alright to clarify:

I won the Friday tourney at PAX East (Look up the video from G4tv Im the dude in the brown shirt aftery they talk about the mascot)

Its not a TF2 Clone, its more like TF2 and DOTA had a crazy love child, due to the fact that you HAVE to get your robots to the money ball before you can do anything, and you have to upgrade your turrets if you dont want to die.

They also put a huge emphasis on upgrading your character IN COMBAT.

So before everyone yells TF2 Clone play it.
