@HorChild I'm not sure if you are aware, but our skin colors are only such because of thousands of years of adaptation in order to get enough vitamin D from the sun. White people's ancestors hail from the northern lands where there was less sunlight, hence the lighter skin in order to get enough vitamin D and be able to reproduce. The darker the skin, the sunnier the climate was historically. Underneath it all, we are all flesh and bone. It is merely our ancestry that determines our color.

@HorChild I am not arguing history with you. Yes, there have been many atrocious acts done by people with light skin. I am not arguing that the evidence points to our origins being in Africa, where we would have had darker skin. What I am saying is that we are all HUMAN, regardless of our skin. It was our ancestor's ignorance of WHY their skin was light or dark that was part of the problem. Unfortunately there has always been people who are greedy for power and have a technological advantage.

@supercop007 It's belly dancing...it's supposed to be sensual & seductive which accounts for the costumes & the suggestive movements. It's an ancient art form & requires training to dance properly. This isn't in countries that require women to cover themselves head to toe, but from places like Lebanon, Turkey, Greece, Egypt, etc.. I'm not sure where belly dancing first came from, but it shows up in many cultures. If I'm wrong, someone please correct me.

The women of the Adnanite Arabs who are the descendants of Ismael son of Prophet Ibrahim who was from Babylon improved the way of belly dancing and men improved the way of drumming. The drum beats people hear today are the same beats that the Arab tribal men used.

Before the arrival of Islam the Arab tribes in Arabia used to gather women in private gatherings or special occasions and perform the belly-dancing, while men from the tribe perform on the drum. Men used to have large feasts of food and wine and watch women while they were dancing.
