Love how the lights, the crowd and Menard went NUTS after the $5000 + spin as if the game was over. Certainly felt like it for a brief second! It's episodes like this that show how exciting this game still is. Raise the money amounts a bit, and it's perfect for prime time today.

The funny part is the space Menard hit had a 1/3 chance of being big bucks. The other two were a whammy and only $500 both which would have been a lose for him.

The assessment was a bit harsh, but she was in a bad position. You don't really want to take one spin when you're in the lead, because if you hit a Whammy like she did, you can't do anything after that.

With that said, her lead wasn't that big. It was a tough call.

Wow, Menard really showed that the game is never over as long as you hit the +1 spin spaces. That's what I loved about the old school PYL. It was fun and you had enough bonus spin spaces to make it a contest even if you were behind by a lot.
