@spencersdh1 I've played it, and you know what, it was good. It really was. But, I've been playing the same game for almost two decades now. Granted, Skyward Sword did have a more fleshed out combat system, but overall, the experience was very similar to a Wind Waker/Ocarina of Time hybrid. Was it better than I expected, yes! Was it revolutionary, no. So, would you settle down if I sucked your balls?

@Samsasrenjet Actually Skyward Sword switched things up dramatically. E.g. not all dungeons are temples. The overworld is completely different, and getting to the dungeons is a puzzle itself. You should give it a shot.

Okay I should've worded it better. What I ment to say was I think a lot of mario games for the Wii are better than some ps3 games. Like Super Mario Galaxy is better than a lot of them but not all of them. Sure there's some not so good mario games for the Wii like Mario and Sonic at the olympic games. @Samsasrenjet Also, not all dungeons are temples as you've said. The game has become a lot less linear. In fact, this looks to be the zelda that will set the course for the future. IGN has called it the greatest zelda ever made and it has already gotten perfect scores (a 10 out of 10) from gameinformer and edge (notorious for their harsh reviews). It got a 98% from nintendo power, tied for the highest score they have ever given. If I were you, I would get excited for this game.

I'm not bashing you by any means, but when you say that skyward sword will lack innovation you are completely and utterly wrong. There are so many things that are different about this iteration in the series. The openworld is there, except now you can fly, it's fully orchestrated, motion control is fully integrated (there are no more touch puzzles in dungeons), the characters are more believable...

@Samsasrenjet At the moment if I had to give up either my Wii or my 360 it would definitely be my 360. Platforming has always been my favorite genre since playing Spyro on the PS1 and Nintendo has always made the best platformers (to be honest I only didcovered this a few years ago). I also love Zelda and I don't see it getting old for me any time soon. The 360 on the other hand has few good platformers and many FPSs. I have never been into that because it feels akward so I'm sticking with Wii

@BlackLionFilms For as much as I support Nintendo, I agree against buying a Wii. There will be no more big titles coming to the Wii (and probably not anymore after Zelda SS). The new Wii HD is coming out though, and it's up to you. PS3/Xbox is meant for multiplayer games. If you have friends with them, you should get one of those two. Just to warn you, you will get mad often with those systems due to other people. I play all 3 big companies, so I'm happy with any.

The few screenshots that have been revealed from the game exhibit an art style similar to Galaxy 1+2. Also, a Star Coin has been spotted in one of the screen shots.
