I've been building a flow drift up out of second hand and new bits all summer, and all that's left is the brakes, got a set of early hope c2's in the shed but don't look nice enough!.so trying a set of hayes strokers chucked off something.I'm thinking of spraying them sparkly gold to match the pro 2 hubs on the wheels I built(what a tart!). Early hope mini's should be cheap? but crc had hayes brand new for £45 a set the other day- they aren't going to get mega use on this sort of bike are they?
The thing I meant with the breakes is if you have them on the frame and put the wheel on there is a big chans that you will force the disc in to one of the brakepads and chip them. Its better and a lot safer if you put the break on after you had the wheel asembeld. Sry for my english it rather bad!
Juicy three arent that expencive! I recomend them! I used them before, works well!
But dont instal it like this tools on the video! The cable is supose to round the front of the bike! The way they do it will fuck up the brake and oil will eventually leak!
And dont, please dont put the break on before the backwheel. Its a BIG chans that you brake the break when they slam it in like that! Dont take advises by this gentlemens! Sry but they are doing it all wrong.
you do the wheel nuts up hand tight then tension the chain with a 10mm spanner until the chain is right and the wheel is straight between the chainstays
I think it was a dmr revolver front and rear hub. We modified it after the bike was built to bolt through as the wheel wasn't clamped tightly enough using the chain tugs and the quick release, so if you are doing one, go straight to bolt through so you don;t waste money and have grief the first time you go jumping...!
I think I did get the name of thw cranks wrong on the video, that's due to the owner not knowing 100% but I think they are fishbones? Whatever they are, when correctly setup they are mega stiff and make you feel plugged into the bike...Glad you enjoyed the build, hope to show it in action soon.
i need some cheep hydrolic brakes for my flow drift i have stock braces at the moment and ther are crap what do you recomend?

Brake has been fine with no problems.
Don;t understand your comment on the brake as you have to fit the brake on the frame ??
