whats the point of having a lockable chest?a hidden bridge?light switch?a rebuilding bridge?a shower?Yes,they do make your house be all techy n stuff but what is a creeper gonna come in your house,open your chest and steal your goods?,is a creeper really gonna need a bridge to get to you?They can swim to you.Do you need a light switch off to help you sleep? do lights cost you anything?Are you too lazy to fix a 8 block long 2 wide bridge?And do you really need to shower in Minceraft?

Minecraft does have multiplayer. So... secret bridge, secret room, lockable chest, and rebuildable bridges are all useful.

Also creepers die in lava so a hidden bridge in a lava moat is incredibly useful even in single player mode.

A light switch can be used for a room to be an occasional monster spawner. This can also be accomplished by placing and removing torches, but it is less cool.

In fact, "Because it's cool" is really enough reason to do anything in minecraft.

Haha, love the shower idea, it needs two levers though. One for hot water, and the other for cold. Imagine this on multiplayer, a guy wanting a hot shower, pulls the hot water lever, and lava flows in.

@DanMarik Pistons are not able to push obsidian, bedrock, furnaces, chests, alchemy stations, or enchantment tables, and im not sure about crafting tables.

Also everything in this is easy and most of it visible and made poorly. The only thing that works good is #6

For the locked chest, I have a much more simple version. Use three pistons instead of one, when you hit the lever/whatever input you want, then two of the pistons pull out a 2 tall area of blocks. The third one then pushes up the chest, allowing you to get stuff, then press input again, chest is hidden.

However this is theory, I will test this out in Minecraft as soon as I get the game to work for my laptop.

Nice job :D I've done The hidden lava bridge too, except I used repeaters to make the blocks come up from either end of the bridge one by one and meet in the middle. I did the secret room and auto harvester too, except my harvester sucks :c I didn't actually build an entire self repairing bridge, however, a friend of mine helped with the redstone while I helped with the bridge layout. Nice vid
