i just bought 7 webcams for security survielance after hours at the office. is there any way to use this software with that many cameras? i dont need to see all of them on the same screen at the same time. i just need it to record motion activated stuff and send it to my iphone or mac.also can you set it to start motion activation at a specific time of day everyday so i dont have to turn it off and on everyday?

How do you set-up multiple web cams? This tutorial shows you that you can do it, but it doesn't show you how? Let's say I have two macbooks with with built-in isights. One is in the kitchen and another is in the livingroom. How can I access/connect to both isights with this app? Is it as simple as installing icamsource on both laptops? Or do all webcams have to be connected to the same source? Thanks. Love iCam by the way. Best iphone web-cam monitoring app there is.

@ejicon Thanks for the great feedback! Yes, if you installed the iCamSource on both computers and used the same iCam Login and Password combination with both iCamSources you would be able to see both webcams at the same time using iCam.

@skjmllc Thanks for your quick response. I Purchased iCam for my girlfriend who has a wild working hours. She just took in a Mom Cat and 2 kitties. She's able to set-up her Laptop's webcam pointing to where they play and can monitor them while she's at work. I've heard nothing by positive things so far and want to thank you guys for all the hard work in making this app.

when i open icam on ipod its saying "update needed do you want to view the app store to update?" if i press "yes" is takes me to app store, and it shows installed. what should i do?? :( pls reple!

@lithinm1998 Try deleting iCam from your iPhone and then re-installing it from the App Store. If you use the same iTunes account that you used before you will not be charged a second time when you attempt to re-purchase it.

How do you set this up to work over 3g? I don't see any configuration screen that allows me to enter my IP and port information.

@teknic111 You don't need to enter your IP or port information. The connection process over 3G is the same as over local WiFi: Just enter your iCam Login and Password and you should be able to connect.

Even when i have auto-start enabled and auto-login enabled i still have to click the icon to start it. Does anybody else have this problem?

This thing works! I am amazed. So much for spending $200 on a baby monitor! I just Spent $35 on a Logitech QuickCam Notebook and will use one of my USB extension cables and snap it right above the crib. The app is $5. So for $40 plus tax i have a baby monitor that I can see from anywhere in the world! Impressive, I feel guilty that this thing was so cheap!
