  • Being a fan of a Western Conference team outside of the Lakers in the 1980s wasn't too fun. Save for two upsets by Houston, it was the Lakers every other year.

  • Bill Russel was a great player. No one should ever question that. His announcing abilities leave a lot to be desired. I said the same thing about Magic Johnson aftrer his announcing stint with NBC
