There is nothing worse than deep emotions trotted out for venial, rather than artistic, purposes. Grant is a strange guy in person and in this film. How would a man who knows nothing about films (not even who di Caprio is) be in love with this Anna Scott? There are loads of other incongruities and nonsensical matters that are actually rather unpleasant.
Having said that, who can deny Julia Roberts anything? She's lovely!
