  • damm if these is a boardnig video?... how then i learn how to tune it!! nice i dont own one but i found weird a steel drum and how do they tune it! (or even play it!! lmao)

  • .. what?

  • JackD4422; "This video is directed at people who actually want to learn about tuning pans."

Maybe, but no 'exclusively' so. From my point of view it's the skill of tuning them that interests me (saw it being done on T.V. 20+ or so years ago). I have a general interest in seeing the methods and skills used that make possible that end result, from the tapping of a hole to the production of a light bulb and all things before in between and after.

  • That was exciting. I play bass guitar, but I can appreciate the tuning.

But let's not also forget from whom the steel drum originated.

  • Your videos have helped a lot; tuning steel can make you question your own sanity.

  • What a marvelous sound

  • I can see why this video may bore some folks, but being a pan player I was rivetted. What an amazing art tuning is.

  • I've been trying to tune some home made pans, and I'm having trouble figuring out what exactly makes the not go flat or sharp. What are you doing to make it sharper or flatter?

    Thank you.

  • great mon,jamaica ray

  • great!

  • This video is directed at people who actually want to learn about tuning pans. You're obviously not interested.
