Eddie was a great road racer, but you should have seen him on a dirt track, wow. I remember watching Eddie and Wayne Rainey dirt track racing on Wed night at Corona Raceway, those guys put on a show.

Lawson proved with one statement that his era was far, far superior than today's GP era. The 500's were impossible beasts, and to be able to tame them took a super human, which Eddie is.
