Alcohol abuse is such a silent killer because so many people are able to deal with alcohol 'normally', it is just a few that are unable to deal with it and abuse it dreadfully.
My co worker had an alcohol problem to. I can't bevieve too, what happened to him. Too much alcohol makes you stupid, ugly, old, grey, and you will stink ervery day for day. Because your liver is destroyed. If you see him berfore and after, you will drink less.
Ученые из Бристоля (Великобритания) опубликовали в журнеле The Lancet список 20 самых опасных наркотика, в котором Марихуана занимает 11 позицию, табак 9 место, а алкоголь 5!
im 13. im the only 13 year old in my class. almost 10 class mates of mine drink . 2 smoke. and they are not even 13 yet. i watch these commercials to learn more information about drinking and smoking. i never plan to smoke,i never want to . even if other people say its cool. i will drink in my life, pretty much everybody will.
@PrincessHv101 Keep cool and keep your head up. Pick a goal that drinking or smoking does not go along with. It will make it easier to stay above the influence.
how about an ad that tells people to know their limits? to manage on how much they drink, NEVER drink and drive and NEVER get in a car with a person who's been drinking. just know how much you can take and don't go past that. you can still get a little drunk, have a good time, and be pretty safe.
umm.. yeah thats not true, my parents would let my try some of their alcohol during parties obviously they watched my and the first thing they let me try was wine so i was like gross! why do adults drink this stuff? I was 8 when i tried a sweet liquer amarula but still i just liked the smell and i could only lick it not drink it so yeah i think slow introduction to alcohol with adult supervision is a good way to avoid alcoholism, also having good friends who also don't abuse alcohol helps
Stop calling it Alcohol Abuse. Alcohol is an inanimate chemical and a thing you abuse is a sentient being. Can you imagine the bottled liquid screaming for mercy and relief? No, so don't go off in the wrong direction with this stupid phrase. Someone who drinks alcohol is abusing another person, it's human being abuse.
@Sliptodance alcohol abuse is the right term. just like drug abuse. you abuse the limits of your body opposed to the moderation you should take of said drug.
I hate dependents so much, spoiled rotten punk ass kids. You live in base housing and dont pay for any utilities... Your life is not hard, its quite easy.
@rudkappa shut up. Civilian kids are the most ignorant and rude kids there are. Being a military brat isn't a fucking cake-walk and at least we are smarter and more respectful than joe the plumbers kids.
@rcdESPANYOL4ever Come on. If you want to portray yourself as smarter and more respectful than the rest of us, please don't resort to mindless insults and generalizations. Thank you. I do not by any means think that being a military brat would be easy, but it's hardly a reason to feel superior.
@FoolishThings127 It doesn't matter if I resorted to murder. Go to any DODDS School for a week and then go to any Public School in the US for a week. You'll see I am right.
@rcdESPANYOL4ever There are about a million comebacks I could make to that, but I'd rather not sink to your level and prove you right about us civilians being rude. Besides, I don't think there's much I need to add...your words speak for themselves. Take that how you will. So I'm through with this conversation...have a nice day, though. :)
lawl i drink ^.^ and im in 8th grad, i was in 7th when i started. but i dont drink cuz its the 'forbiden fruit' or what ever, id rather drink my problems away, and thats my choise
DRUG PROBLEMS? Learn how to end both withdrawal and cravings from drugs. Also highly effective for alcoholism. Based on breakthrough medical discovery. Learn more on my channel or send me a message. Good luck to all!!
i honestly think the age limit shud be abolished because the only reason kids drink and end up binging is because of the excitment wen they get that beer like once a week/month if they had access to it and information from parents they wud see that drinking isnt a big deal...i cant give all my poitns here but i wrote a paper on this last year and it really got people thinking
kids want alcohol cuz its like a forbidden fruit...if we worked on informing them of how to handle drinking instead of keeping it from them therfor making them want it more we wud be seeing a lower death rate concerning alcohol and teens...i lived in a country were you could start drinking at a very young age....i am not an alcoholic nor is any of my frends or family
@ladyosas Europe has the highest rate of drinking and driving, alcoholics and people who die of alcoholism every year. You clearly haven't researched for this essay.
I do not wish to leave names; but I am 13 and I have friends who enjoy drinking and do so everynight...and it started when they where 11...So I don't think Grade 8 is the starting age in Canada.
Other countries are tackling the issue of alcoholism, alcohol abuse and underage drinking. Great Britain's Chief Medical Officer issued the first-even parental guidelines with regards to underage drinking in Jan. 2009 - one of which advises parents that children under age 15 must not be allowed to drink. France considers alcohol abuse and addiction one of it's top health issues. NIAAA reports that half of alcoholics are addicted by age 21 and 2/3 by age 25. This kind of message is critical.
I'm so tired of all this anti-booze bullshit thats still going on in America. Other countries don't look at Alcohol like it's a taboo. And they have less problems alcohol abuse. Unlike this Puritan country.
just so you know they pulled these statistics straight from thier ass. I drank before i was 15 and im fine. come to think of it i havent drink for a few months now... hhhmmmmmmmm i need to hit a bar sometime...
