  • If anybody knows where I could get a copy of the entire Cd Your Heart's In Good Hands please let me know. It's such a great CD. And thank you for posting this song I forgot how beautiful the songs on this album are. My family used to have a gospel group and we opened for Al Green when i was a little boy. i didn't know then that I would grow up to absolutely love the man I had a pleasure to open for when i was young.

  • it's like 8 copies for sale on ebay as of today.

  • alessamarie you are so authentic, kind and radiant in beauty all your own, your sweet demeanor and caring compassion is gods gift to us all, we should all hope to enjoy your thoughtfulness, you are wonderful but more you are there for us who will never know you. the lord loves you needs you, just as i did, I will take this memory and take it and pay it forword to everyone who will never know. its a beautifull thing.......you :) thank you just what i wanted to know to hope for to see to feel...

  • This can be purchased on his single hits albums. but not the greatest hits.

  • this is a very lovely song...... very loving...

  • i wish everyone could believ in each other, i wish it could just be,its so sad that its not, its not worth living for,

  • This is the song..............

  • From the album "Don't Look Back" (RCA1993) . First released as a single in '93. 12" vinyl had a Dr Bob Jones Soul Surgery Mix one side which was great. In fact, this might be that. Dunno, cos I no longer have my copy. Good music doesn't age, good music always sounds good. Al Green is a beautiful man. What a voice. Thanks for the upload AM.

  • This song is listed on the soundtrack to the movie The Pallbearer with David Schwimmer and Gwyneth Paltrow, 1996. Could not listen to a sample to know if it is this song, hey worth a shot. Since Two Weeks Notice only has score to that movie. This is such a wonderful song. No one is better than Al Green. Know that voice anywhere.

  • The song was originally in the 1996 movie THE PALLBEARER w/ David Schwimmer & Gwyneth Paltrow. The sad part is that there is an officIal video for this song with Al Green. Ive only seen it once bat the end of ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT. The problem is locating it's CURRENT whereabouts. A little help over here from anybody out there PLEASE!!!!

  • Al Green has been great for 40 years. And he's STILL GOING. His voice is a beautiful thing. Now if only we could change the accompanying video.... This performance deserves BETTER.

  • I love this song. I heard this song at the end of that movie The Cookout, been lookin for it myself. Theres a video out of this song but I can't find it on youtube anymore. Whats up with that?

  • I am a long time fan of Mr. Al Green. I heard this song in the movie "Two Weeks Notice" and I've been looking for the song ever since. I finally found it! I love this song and the lyrics. Have a great day everybody...Love is a Beautiful Thing.

  • Same here...I heard it in the movie too and have been looking for it!!!! Thanks so much for posting!!!

  • Where's a place that you can download this song for free?

  • i heard this song in two weeks notice, searched for this and came here :D love it from 4:47 :D

  • Good song, not so good vid

  • second life sucks, but great song

  • the song rocks but the video is HORRIBLE i mean cum on fuckin serious wut kinda couples r these couples on drugs its retarted

  • adore this track.

  • Well, I stand corrected. There are SIX references to other Al Green songs: (from Wikmipedia) Green acknowledges that "Love Is a Beautiful Thing" summed him up the most: nine seconds into the song Green says "This is what I believe". Then, near the end (at 4 minutes and 43 seconds), over the music he sings the titles of 6 of his own biggest hit songs: "Let's Stay Together" (which he sings twice), "Still In Love With You", "Call Me", "For the Good Times", "Tired of Being Alone" and "Here I Am".

  • Dang, I've been trying to find this song. It's the background music in the final scene in Two and a Half Weeks, and it's been driving me nuts. Not on iTunes, etc. Starting at 4:18 is the part of the song that is in the movie. While I like the rest of the song, this is some of the most soulful music I've ever heard. Note: in this part he also makes reference to two of his other songs: Still in Love with You, and Let's Stay Together. Thanks for posting.

  • u can tell by the lyrics and his soulful way of singing this man was in love

  • great lyrics alessamarie!!!

  • I first heard this song in the movie 2 Weeks Notice. I found it on cd but it was over $50 so I'm glad at least it's on here. It is such a good song. No one can do it better than Al Green. Great post and nice work on the video.
