@clemiker so ein Eingriff ist nicht ohne Risiko, das stimmt. Wir dachten ja, das Tier sei abgestorben. Tejus kann man, wenn sie überfällig sind, aus dem Ei rauskitzeln. Leider ohne erfolg. Die Kleine ist mittlerweile 1,5 Jahre hat sich gut entwickelt (55cm GL) und bleibt bei uns. Sie darf ab Herbst dann zu den großen ins Terrarium. Nochmal Glück gehabt. :-)

That was probably the funniest hatching I've ever seen! (Well, not the bit afterwards where it ran off the table, was it okay?). The egg was completely still, yet the moment it was picked up and put into the box, it wobbled and BAM! Baby Tegu!
