  • tis is not siva... this is bodhisatva n buddhist.

  • k bonitoooooooo

  • As someone has pointed out, its not a Shiva Dance but its a Thousand Hand Bodhisatva Dance performed at - 2005 CCTV Spring Festival Gala. Search youtube for the same.

Poster needs to correct the title..

  • wow! what a performance!

Look at the co-ordination and concept- also the implementation!!

  • In which scripture it is written that Buddha is the incarnation of Vishnu?

  • um.... isn't this the dance of the 1000 armed Bodhisattva? i know it cauz i have seen the live. this got nothing to do with lord shiva. they are not pretending to be shiva they are trying to pretend one of the forms of kwan yin

  • Fenomenalne,piękne,niezwykłe DZIĘKI

  • And Buddha was Nepalese, not Indian.

  • oh please he was from lumbini part of magadha, he later settled in gaya bihar which was part of the kingdom then. so he was born in ancient undivided india, modern day nepal. Thats like saying mahabharata was composed in pakistan.

  • I was just trying to find a video of someone doing the Nataraja so that I could speed it up, but this dance piece here is amazing. I have seen something like this done with a line of 6 blue people, but it was nothing in comparison to this.

  • perfect! :) I love the serene and tranquil look of their face... soooo peacefull and beautifull :)

  • fenomenal very good

  • great !!! i also dance the shiva dance!!! its really nice!!

  • Though this is not Bharatnatyam, it shares many similarities with the karanas of that dance, as well as the Indic origins and influence of Budhism, as especially seen in the costumes and mudras. However, this is now truly a creation of its own Chinese cultural context and should be seen in the proper light with respect to the Chinese artists. And Chinese viewers should also realise the debt owed to their neighbour. Art should not be about jingoism but universality.

    Peace.

  • Thank for upload :)

  • Buddhism stems from hinduism. Bhuddha, SIDHARTHA, Gautam Bhud, was the 10th re-incarnation of lord Vishnu and he was born in india. This beautiful and magical dance is definately a form of Shiva Dance. The barat natyam, which is the main componenet of this beautifully performed dance, comes from Lord Shiva. One day he was angry and he did his tandad, one of the sage watched him and wrote the barat natyam. I hope this answers to teh confusion that this dance has created.

  • I thought that Siddhartha was supposed to be the ninth incarnation and that Kalki was the upcoming tenth? O.o

  • Buddhism stems from hinduism. Bhuddha, Gautam Bhud, was the l0th re-incarnation of Vishnu. Bhuddha was born in India. This beautiful dance definately is shiva dance, because shive is the original of barat natyam. He was angry one day and he was dancing, one of the sage watched him and wrote the step of bharat natyam.

  • Essa danca e buda nada de shiva Affffffff elas sao chinesas meninas surdas que faz esse trabalho divino ! por favor passar informacao errada e ate falta de respeito !!!!

  • 千手观音 -

Well, this is called the dance of Thousand Hand's GuanYin ( A Buddism God), from China. And the amazing thing is that these dancer are deaf.

  • that`s just amazing I dont care about the name.... saludos de mexico

  • that`s just magnificent!!!

TKS for share this with us!!!

  • Gracias , está hermosísimo.

  • budhha is not hindu avatar u dumbo! buddha is buddhist there's a vast difference between hinduism n buddism plus buddha is bodhisatwa meanin he doesn't reincarnate ever he achieved nirvana unlike other buddhas who're born again n again to achieve nirvana..theyre not vishnu avatar now dun say jesus is vishnu avatar too silly!

  • this is amazing. As far as I know this dance is related to shiva/natraj dance. Buddha is also hindu god avatar (vishnu avatar).

  • This was shown on Taiwanese television a few years ago. Though the title is not appropriate, it is nonetheless amazing, since ALL THE DANCERS ARE DEAF! They were taught to do the dance by numbers. Earlier, to the left of the screen is a woman in white who's job it is, is to see to it they keep proper count

  • china is not india

    budha is not shiva

    ;-)

  • god she make me scare...ho no.......is amazing...

  • красиво .даже при плохом качестве впечетляет!!

  • Who cares what the dance is called, it's absolutely beautiful!

  • change the title

  • this is something wonderful, the dancers have very good coordination of hands and give it a mystical touch to the dance

  • I would say the dieties are confused with the title , but the dance and production are phenomenal!!

  • May I know how is this Shiva Dance ????? Not jus plagiarism .. but, it's an abuse ...

  • good good gr*

  • wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow. i dont know what else to say. WOW!!

  • All I can say that this is MIND BLOWING. Jai Shiv Shakti.

    Sharat malhotra

  • i agree they might deaf...but what u mean by they dumb??

  • it means they don't speak. the word isn't being used to mean stupid in this instance.

  • do u guys know that these performers all here are deaf and dumb. They were just awesome rite

  • my dance lol

  • i have nothin to say just WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW§

  • wow....perfect coordination

  • Absolutely You r Right Avalokiteshvara it is.

  • I have to agree with some of the other comments; this does not seem like the Nataraja. I think it it would be plausible to say that it is Avalokiteshvara though with the many (thousand) hands with what looked to be eyes in the palms.

  • Uhh i dont think your talkin about Lord shiva

  • wow : Excellent !

what is the name of the song ?

  • its spectacular!!! its jst tooo good thanks for sharing

  • the Buddha Mother Sitatapatra.

(Sitatapatra has one head, two arms, three eyes (the third eye in located between the eyebrows), her left hand holds a parasol, the right hand is in the wish-bestowing mudra, and she sits in the meditation style on a lotus).

  • This is not lord Shiva, this is Sitatapatra, the goddess of destruction in Buddhism

  • Its Beautiful.......

  • Extradinary performace. Thanks for sharing. Please provide the high quality version of this video or URL.

  • I hope Lord Shiva never does that or else all 3 worlds will be enilated
