  • I love this its so beautiful.

  • thank you for this---so interesting and beautiful.

  • can you tell me what instruments are played in this song please?

  • The word "yaho" in this song comes from the Hebrew "Yehowa" ... the word for the "God" or "Great Spirit" in proper Cherokee is ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ (or "unelanvhi"). The song is very pretty, but not truly Cherokee. It is a modern fake to be blunt.

  • we speak english but our soul speak native american lenguage

  • My great grandmother, would sing this to me as I was quite small, it was only until she translated it,to me, It was that I understood why she sang it so beautifully, she knew a higher power over herself, even thru adversity she stood tall, in her language it was so beautiful, and still is my spiritual mantra, You taught me more about the spirit of the soul, than anyone ever could have, from the soul to the spirit within .I sing this and my soul is at peace, real peace that transends all.

  • Respect from ireland. We had a very similar culture both ruined by imperial colonists.

  • All four of my grandparents were part Cherokee. I know so little of my heritage. I like this song :-)

  • although a morning song...I sing it as a lullaby to my babies :) ~namaste~

  • if you are spanish you are part of the cherokee

  • I am 5/8 Native Pride. This is such a beautiful soulful song :)

  • I can't say anything,yet,

  • I love this ~~ I also put it on my facebook so ppl can hear it from all walks of life , I hope you dont mind ~ <3 Hugs

  • The true americans the native, peace and love will prosper once again, we just have to stand together and stand for love, peace, fealings, respekt, and for our beautiful mother Earth that has enogh for every soul to provide, Peace.

  • With all due respect, people should view this banned Youtube video and judge for themselves if our very own government has been, and currently still is, feeding us FAKE news:

    vimeo(dot)com(forward slash)34714039

  • @letstalkaboutstuff Those who have studied the founding fathers of this Nation know that our Constitution has been assaulted many times by the International Bankers and that special interests control this countries government. The people have been sleeping far too long. The power structure: NWO: UN, IMF, FED, CFR, TLC, HLS - Not the people who own this country and our Government. We have accepted Social Dependency over Freedom!

  • @letstalkaboutstuff -It doesn't work, but what is it? For me, the concept is nothing new. I know to a certain extent it happens, and it shouldn't surprise anyone. The mainstream media is designed to control, and maintain the powers that be.

  • I am white and I seem to completely understand the Native Americans. They got robbed in their way. So have I in some ways. By trying to understand. I feel like I am a Native sometimes. I am trying to write a book about the Ghost Dance. Not an easy write. Someone has to do justice for the Natives.

    Peace to all of you.

  • kia ora i am maori and also native 2 my lands. hold on 2 ur heritage , culture and music u r the most amazing people ov ur kind. like maori we ave held on 2 our heritage and culture and our language. the english tried 2 wipe maori out but realised maori wer not gona stand down. maori and pakeha(whiteman) live side by side, we fought 4 our lands and rights, dat is y we r hea 2day. let dea b peace and harmony 2 all mankind

  • soon the great spirit wants fly again - wake up, don't sleep !

  • Beautiful, peaceful, graceful. Photographs by Edward R. Curtis...This is a song to keep...I am of Native American heritage as well...even if I were not, this is for everyone who wants to be soothed.

  • Very nice.

  • Beautiful....

  • There's no such thing as a Cherokee princess damn it!

  • @potonatic You took the words right out of my mouth! But I guess we are forgetting Pocohantas... Disney knows everything... we are just stupid Indians... what do we know! LOL

  • @MsAKSfan Eh heh. I'm not native. But that doesn't mean I don't know about the whole cherokee princess myth xD

  • @potonatic Can't have princesses without kings! LOL Science, the study of genes, says that if you are a 3rd or 4th generation Am., you have over a 97% chance of having white, black, and Indian blood! I think that is why so many identify with the Indigenious People, and don't know why. Gram always said, "the blood will tell." The roots of this land are Indian. I find it beautiful that so many want to honor the Indian Way. I'm never offended by such expressions. I hate the term Wannabe! '@v@'

  • @MsAKSfan I am mixed blood White and Indian, but the Indian is weak as my Grandmother was 1/4 Cherokee. However, I feel very close to the Natives of this land as I was raised to respect all life. My child years were spent hunting, fishing and understanding the beauty of nature. Then I grew to be a man and saw the ugliness of mankind in war. Now, I am retired with time to think of my past struggles to educate the youth who will not listen. It is a sad day for all when freedom is threatened.

  • O.M.G. BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!

  • I'm not Indian at all (Kiwi), but this is so beautiful :) What does it mean?

  • @Carolarny1 Kiwi's are beautiful, too :) Walela is the name of the female group singing this very beautiful song.

Wi Na De Ya Ho...I am of the Great Spirit, It is so

Wi Na De Ya...I am of the Great Spirit

Wi Na De Ya...I am of the Great Spirit

    Ho Ho Ho Ho

    He Ya Ho...It is so

  • @letstalkaboutstuff hilfe, das ist hilfreich und geschichte, und emomtional und lied und sprache....

  • @letstalkaboutstuff - could you please tell me the name of the group for this actual recording? I would love to purchase a copy. Thank you.

  • @letstalkaboutstuff

    We n' de ya ho.

    We n' de ya ho.

  • im cherokee and chataw indian from my dad side

  • I'm from a culture that doesn't know what the hell it's doing. Seeing this video, I'm moved by the passion filled faces. We fight with ourselves over budgets and irrelevant politics. Meanwhile, we are making the planet uninhabitable, allowing starvation, poverty. Soon, we'll cause the oceans to rise and millions to migrate or die, THEN we'll decide to do something about it. I believe that aboriginal peoples have some wisdom on the environment. We don't deserve it, but I hope you'll forgive us.

  • i love this song and im proud to be 1/4 cherokee indian! -3 i wish i knew the language, culture and religious aspects. id love to know all of it.

  • Proud to be mixed with Cherokee Indian 

  • @alleshia257 The question is, does the federal cherokee feel the same about you? If your not enrolled in the federal cherokee tribes then they will call you a fake and fraud native american. The federal cherokee is very well known for insulting and harassing any native american that is not a card carrying federla native american.

  • Proud To Be Cherokee Indian! <33

  • Great information. Thanks.

  • The final U. S. Senate vote on the internet takeover bill is set for January 24th. As of right now, that bill, which gives U. S. Attorney General Eric Holder the power of an "Internet Czar," WILL PASS. Please send faxes to every Member of the U.S. Senate, and demand that they filibuster S. 968, the Senate version of the internet takeover bill.Unfortunately, the American people are not paying attention to this. We only have a few days to stop this unconstitutional power grab,Fax RIGHT NOW!

  • @letstalkaboutstuff im afraid not many people are paying attention, just like the bill that allows military to detain us citizens without trial, or due process. I am at the point where i am telling people but nothing will happen till everyones rights start to get infringed, and those who do not care start to care.

  • I'm sad that some of my family is gona but I'm still here I would love to pass down the native American heritage to my future kids :) that wou

  • 134 people are white

  • I cry for Grand Mother worked morning to night cooking cleaning canning all year for 15 childern SHE was Cherokee

  • Just wonder who are these 134 assholes who dislike this beautiful and soul moving song???!!!

Absolutely beautiful song! Greetings from Europa!!

  • I listened to this song by chance. How peaceful it is and how nice you are! I read about your history, and have always felt great affection for you. I don't think you're Americans, i think you are more than that.

  • beautiful makes me cry

  • It's hard to hear this, and to look at these pictures, and not think "These beautiful people are gone" ---- "My people are gone.." But I'm still here. And I'm proud to be here.

  • I love this song! I play it for my kids when they are feeling restless. I'm 1/4 Native American, and though I am not registered I still want my kids to have a connection to their heritage. This song is so peaceful and beautiful!

  • ♩♫ ˙· ♥ ·˙ ♫♩ **♥ ♥***˙ ♫♩♩♫ ˙· ♥ ·˙ ♫♩ **

  • Native Americans are the Real Americans !! I'm so sorry for you ..

  • (=

  • These are the descendents of the Patriarch Joseph; sent here, called EPHRAIM ~ sent, to PREPARE the lands for the time of the GREATEST Famine. That famine, is NOT of meat or bread; but for the PUREST WORD and TRUTH from that ONE AND ONLY, Great High Spirit, YAH. HIS son came in HIS NAME, and we call Him YAHushua HaMashiach, Omein!

  • this is so haunting and peaceful!!

  • autas musica

  • this is fucking modern electro-rubbish...nothing to do with traditional music!

  • When i hear this the human being inside of me awaken to the beauty and knowledge that nature is our house, not the building that we build.

That we are all one on mother Sophia, no borders!

  • PEACE & LOVE

  • That is very beautiful. I wish we could get the meaning of the words. Does anyone have them?

  • @vmathews3 Sure do.

We n' de ya ho, We n' de ya ho,

We n' de ya, We n' de ya Ho ho ho ho,

He ya ho, He ya ho, Ya ya ya

Translation - We n' de ya ho

Freely translated: "A we n'" (I am), "de" (of), "Yauh" --the-- (Great Spirit), "Ho" (it is so).

Written as: A we n' de Yauh ho (I am of the Great Spirit, Ho!).

This language stems from very ancient Cherokee

  • the first time i heard traditional Cherokee music, i was amazed. this music had a huge influence on Euroamerican music.

  • It breaks my heart, when I think of how this Country would be...if the white man never came...nothing would be polluted, nothing would be extinct...the Indians should have butchered and eaten the Pilgrims...if only they knew..

  • @jakmak100 Had we known... we probably would have! We can be a vengeful People... even those of us who have been raised away from the Rez politics... LOL

  • My great grandfather was full-blooded Cherokee an was a Chief I have to agree this is a great song sad to say I have more of my Mothers Irish than Cherokee in me but I was brought up to know about both of my Heritage's

  • breath taking :)

  • love this, i am also Cherokee by Blood

  • I am 100% British but something deep inside me responds to this. Because this is only one life among many and "identity" fades into meaninglessness when i choose to let it go.

  • No words...it sings for itself. I love it.

  • I love this music and native Americans

  • This is a beautiful song... Im 36 and just found out that Im cherokee, let alone aboriginal. Wow!!! If anyone has any good sites that I can look into I would greatly appreciate it. :-)

  • I have listened to this over and over, I absolutely love it. When I lost my mother, It really helped me. We are Cherokee Indian, but do not have our cards. But I have never lost my heritage, and never will, Thank You!

  • 133 are jealous that they dont have cherokee blood

  • Comment removed

  • @Gentilejedi Interesting.. Have you spent much time on the rez? Which where when? I've been on more than one, why do you choose to use the word "plight"?

Is it my plight? Is it not everyone's shared plight? Is it not the human plight? Folks need to stop romanticizing the rich and their money, and educate the young ones about truth instead of bullshit. Teach real history in high school classrooms. Then watch what happens.

  • Comment removed

  • @CrazyBear65 No. No one will teach real history in high school. It's European driven, make pretend history. Go into a high school and tell the board of ed, on a school *off Rez* that you want to introduce indigenous studies. Then we'll watch what happens.

  • @Gentilejedi HA! I disagree...when was the last time you were in school? The history has been editorialized to point of becoming fiction!

  • @MimiDove9 A long time. You probably have hit on truth there, after seeing my own son's history books. History has never been been honest, not when it involved Native Americans.

  • @CrazyBear65 As an Art Teacher/Indian woman let me tell you it used to make me cring at what they were teaching for Indian history... pure nonsense most of it. I spent a lot of time dispelling those foolish concepts. LOL Hollywood Indian! Thanksgiving was the worst, I believe! .

Those grateful whites sneaked into the Indian village in the wee hours after the 'celebration' ... and killed every man, woman and child... that is recorded history. Their gratitude was overwhelming...'@v@'

  • @MsAKSfan Sounds kinda like how the federal cherokee is trying to do to every non federal native american descendant today. Makes me so sad how the federal cherokee is attacking the majority of the native americans in the USA today :(

  • @Monasukapanough yeah... though we have found our grandfather on the cherokee rolls, we have not tried to claim our heritage from that direction. I have heard that it is very difficult. On the maternal side, we are card carrying Indians. What can I say, it is more important to know in your heart than to have to carry a card! We are the only people in this country who have to carry a card to prove how much blood we are... Indian blood that is...

  • @Monasukapanough yes, I have heard that it is that way. it's sad to me. Perhaps they fear that people want to get part of what they have... materially. I can assure them that the Indians I know do not want anything but our Culture that was stolen from us by the practices of the whites. Indian Mission Schools, Assimilation/Annihilation laws thus leading to passing for white... these things destroy a culture. But we just don't fit in... somewhere in us a Drum beats! Calling us home, aho :)

  • @MsAKSfan Hi, all...Im an englishman and agree with you all and more...I have a great admiration for all the native tribes, people and their cultures....what was done to them and you,s in the past is a total disgrace !!!!!!!!!!!!! I have my 3 yr old son, I have named him Cochise Inde, after the great man himself from the Apache...he lives with me in the UK,and is the only UK born with this name on the national data base....just to let you all know...even far away we support you.

  • @cochiseapache1 Thank you, I am glad that you appreciate the teachings of my People. It has been said that one day the white man will dress like the Indian and the Indian will dress like the white man. I take that to mean that we will see eye to eye as True Human Beings... although I know that some say it will be the end of this time for the vermin on the back of the Earth Mother. I don't know, but I try to treat people the way I want to be treated.

  • @CrazyBear65 The truth of yesterday may not be the truth of tomorrow. But is shows the pathway to tomorrow. Truth, Honor and Trust must be the standard. A wealthy brave did not become wealthy sitting around the campfire. Capitalism may create wealth for all who engage. A fiat money system creates the pathway to poverty and starvation. Yes, we must learn new ways and we must teach the children Truth. Each childs future is in his own hands; Must stand beside others who hold truth above all.

  • I've said this time and time again and decided long ago, a video containing *Native American* material still cannot be watch without tempting the watcher to share some fraction (i.e. my grandma was fullblooded or I'm 1/4) of supposed American Indian Ancestry.

If your ancestry was not part of a federally recognized tribe and a documented Indian, please stop insisting you are a Cherokee. There are only 3 recognized Cherokee tribes today.

    -Ciao

  • @Gentilejedi With the name "GENTILEjedi" and signing off with Ciao, what is your heritage? Did your ancestors have to walk the "trail of tears" as mine did? We ARE real people and do folks really use Cherokee as a "generic" term for Native American ancestry they don't really have? I don't. Are you implying wannabes use the name Cherokee? Please, I'd like to know.

  • Comment removed

  • @Gentilejedi I got you message through my email address via You Tube. Your comment to me had already been flagged as spam before I came to this site. Your comment was sniddy and you did not answer my questions. Were the two comments that have been removed to me also? Do you have to be hateful to someone you don't even know, or know anything about? I know on the internet it's easy to be mean, but can't you just be nice?

  • WOW im native athlabascan from alaska love native music

  • Love this, were can I find the music.

  • i soooooooooooooo LOVE this!!!! its so beautiful!!!!! the melodies....the singing!!! :)

  • why are there more native americans in mexico when the population of native americans were about the same.

  • My Great Grandmother was full-blooded Cherokee. I'm very proud to be a part of her lineage. Along with my Great Grandfather who was Scottish. Thank you for a beautiful upload. I am the last to carry our surname on our branch of the family tree and very proud that granny was American Indian and married the Scotsman.

  • When I hear this the Cherokee inside me awakens and thrives i feel proud to be Cherokee

  • @jvwashere2 Amen

  • I have no known Indian blood in me, but my heart and my spirit are so deeply moved and touched by the things I have learned and been shown and always felt that I cant help but love the lessons I have learned and certain ways of life and beliefs. I am a Human Being.

  • I know very little of the culture and wish to know more, as I am 1/6 Cherokee. Many would never know it by looking at me being 6ft blond haired and blue eyed.

  • i'm cherokee and african and i'm proud for who i am.

  • I'm enrolled SIoux from Rosebud, SD and I love my heritage and you should be proud of yours too.

  • we are singing this in chorus class :)

  • 800,000 Indians killed in the war of the whites, only 50,000 settlers killed, may the spirits of Native American ancestors resonate for eternity

  • WHY!!!

  • I really love this song, I'm not cherokee, but I do have mexican indian in me, and I'm very proud of that, I'm a born again Christian, but I do sing this song to my savior all the time, and I'm happy, and very much empowered to singing this song, it has lots of meaning to it, if you pay attention, and listen very closely to it, you'll see how much of a blessing it is to listen and sing it, cause your praising God along the way for his creation...

  • @eep5000 a mexican that is indian and spanish is called mestizo btw

  • My greatgrandmother was full blood Cherokee. My father taught me alot bout nature, therefore made me sensative to nature and GOD. I wish I could have known her and listned to her strories and learned her way of life. Native Americans are very intune to God, nature and life.

  • I am Cherokee and European, and it makes me feel proud to listen to some of my ancestors music.

  • this is a beautiful song. Makes me respect the Native American culture even

  • i live my life to the to the ways of my brothers even though im all white man sgi for showing people the spirit of our voice and the power of our thoughts! Agian i wish not to anger people by calling myself one of the princible people but in my spirit i truly am trust me!

  • @nativewolf55555 when you truly belive in a certain culture you are part of that culture, keep going brother :)

  • this is simply divine <3

  • So amazingly beautiful, god bless native americans, you always were, and are the people with the purest hearts and gentle souls, god bless you all <3

  • I come from the Cheek Name,Grandmothers side,So who am I now? I was taught all my life the Indians were the bad ones,SO WRONG,SO WRONG. I now have to deal with this day and age in AMERICA,wow, how time changes things.

  • I have a beautiful friend who sings this song and she sounds like an angel when she sings it...very beautiful song ...love you Ms. Arla....<3

  • It is funny you should mention ur heritatage I am 1/2 cherokee and african american and I too chose to walk the red path when my mother went to join the great spirit and like u I have not regretted it. So I do walk proud. I have learned a little cherokee listening to these songs.

  • be proud..be happy..forget differences..celebrate similarities..life is short..be wise

  • So beautiful! Thank you, I am grateful you have shared this video.

  • I've had this song for many years on the CD Robbie Robertson & The Red Road Ensemble.. It's one of my favourites and I play it often.. Thank you for posting it with the slideshow.. :o)

  • perfect!!!!!!!!!!!!thanks....:)

  • You do not have to be a full blood to honor our ways. Check out Metis' OUT OF CANADA

  • love it

  • This is truly a beautiful song, it makes me proud to be part Cherokee, peace be onto my ancestors.

  • im 1/8th cheerokee and im proud to be part indian in me you can't really tell that i am but i also was raised in regular white style so in less i told you would never know but i take pride in this cherokee's where a peaceful tribe and had so much done to them the "trail of tears" which makes myself mad at our government for treating the true founders of this land terrible but they did not think this to be land , land was every body's in there eyes

  • Love this!!

  • Beautiful!

  • Cherokees are the best tribe

  • @nategarga what a sad remark for you to make

  • Beautiful ..................

  • Hi, I am from Croatia, Europe...Do not know much about native Americans, only from Internet and movies...I just can say that white people are poison to the other nations.. This is a beautiful song and you natives should be proud of your ancestors!!!! Wish I was one of them!!

  • My husband has Cherokee/Tsalagi blood, and has had this song for several years and played it for our family. We haven't been able to translate it yet, though he has been learning Tsalagi... does anyone have a translation for this song? So very beautiful.... Thanks.

  • I won't let them say that with your help.

  • This is such a beautiful song. I am proud to be an native American. I feel it doesn't really matter how much red blood you have it's how you feel about your heritage. Living in the city sometimes you forget just like people forget to really look up at the sky. One day they may say there use to be natives but I will let them say that.

  • Injustice is a human condition. The forgotten people (yourselves included) are all citizens of the world who have no option but to accept. The silent word has the greatest impact. We should know we listen to God all the time. What constantly drowns the voice of God?.., the sound of Moses "God said...." when in truth it is but the echo of Moses own heart that does the talking for God is, Good is...., Love in action, .. and this is the sound I hear in this video. Chineahou

  • Very pretty song, great culture, handsome people.

  • I am Cherokee, Chickasaw, Cheyenne, and a bit of several other tribes and white. I do consider myself indigenous American w/ European and African ancestry. Not White w/ native blood. It is hard when you have no actual connection w/ your heritage. Genocide, adoption and other travesties on the native people have warped our cultural identity. Now the profiteers want to capitalize on it. Shame. It may be the only way our people survive though. Way bigger shame.

  • all I have to say is leave it up to the government and religion to oppress the native Americans for to many years put into the minds of people that they were the bad guys and that is wrong if it had not been for the natives their would have never been a Jamestown settlement or Louisiana purchase or USA I have no native American in me but I also hate the way they have been treated Hollywood has all so got to answer to some of the ill treatment of the natives to their are way to many cowbo

  • MHA Nation!

  • I'm in love with native american culture...and I identified my people from now, with native americans back then...cause America now is trying to destroy my people, supporting therorisam...I adore this culture, and I wish If I could live like a native even for 10 days to learn about native culture ;)

  • I am Tsilhqot'in from central British Columbia Canada. We are just starting to sing our traditional songs and I love this song it touches the heart.

  • Now we Americans are losing it to Mexicans and other "invaders" just like the Native Americans lost it to use. At least they fought back for a while.

  • This song is very beautiful!

    A kosovaalban

  • I am part Cherokee, not sure how much. Both of my grandmother's parents were Cherokee, and i believe her father was full blooded. Even if i dont have a lot, and I'm white, I am proud to be at least part of the Cherokee nation! I love the culture and people. My class is learning about the Trail of Tears and we are all absolutely disgusted by it. Who could do such a thing? Andrew Jackson is apparently "one of the best presidents". Definitely not in my opinion.

  • YAH YAH.......PRAISE YAH....YEHO WAH........GOD IN THE MORNING ...LET US PRAISE MIM....I PRAY TO YAH....BLESS ALL NATIVES OF THE AMERICA'S........

  • I HATE AMERICA 4 KILLING NATIVE AMERICANS !!! THEY DONT GET A SHIT ABOUT THEM AT ALL> SHAME ON THE FUCKIN HOBOS THAT WENT TO CALIFORNIA TO LOOK 4 GOLD CUS THEY POOR!!! I SUPPORT THE INDIANS!!!

  • There are so few of us full-blooded cherokee left.

  • i love the image at 0:35. anyone know what its called?

  • I am a blend of Cherokee, Creek, and Continental-African, all created into one American. The song is magnanimously pleasant. Thank you.

  • prabhupadavani. org/main/Bhagavad-gita/GT220.html

  • I'm a 15 year old female who is part Lumbee, which I was told is a sect of Cherokee. I haven't been raised in the culture, or even really been taught about it, because my Mother (who is Native American) is completely Americanized, and really would just be classified as "White". She knows nothing. I'm trying to teach myself about the culture through books and the Internet. If anybody has any valuable information/stories they'd like to share, I'd be grateful if you could message me about them.

  • There's not one Cherokee in any of your pictures! All you people claiming to be Cherokee blood; those few thousand Cherokee Men left must have really got around. Or maybe after capture and forced exile to Federal Lands, the Heinz 57 took over, so you all can be Cherokee? LOL

  • very pretty song

  • Is this a song by Sting?

  • This is one of my all time favorite pieces of music. I love the harmonious female voices, melody and rhythm. It has a deep emotional impact on me.

  • i am white skinned, blue eyes. but i do have the high cheekbones, and i tan really fast. my grandmother used to make beaded jewlery and dreamcatchers in the pow wow's . when i was younger i did the tribal dances. i dont know how much cherokee blood i have in me, but i do know that i am VERY proud to be a part of this culture. im currently learning to speak cherokee. and am following my path back to where my ancestors came from. cherokee pride! <3

  • Beautiful music. We Finns have their own sins. Maybe not as bad as the U.S., but only recently has the Lapps have the rights to which they belong.

  • I love this song.I find healing in it.I am mixed, was not my fault. The Cherokee blood in me is strong.I love this beautiful earth. Her wonders are beyond words.I am more at peace with nature, than anything else and love getting lost in the mountains.

  • It saddens me when my brothers and sisters look down on me and others for claiming our tribe and practicing in their way of life simply because we are a certain percentage of native blood. It wasn't my choice that I would be mostly European. But, isn't it the sincerity and love in one's heart that makes them what they are? I'm proud to be Cherokee/Blackfoot/British. Most of all, I'm proud to be a part of the oneness we call Humanity.

  • @Rantalicious You sound ridiculous. Have you been watching the Lone Ranger re-runs?

  • @MrSchpankme How do I sound ridiculous?

  • @Rantalicious There are so few of us that are pure anything anymore that we need to draw closer, not pull away from each other. I am a quarter Cherokee, a quarter Irish, a quarter Scottish and a quarter Welsh. I am proud of them all. I chose to walk the Red Path years ago and have never regretted it. My Christian values are not compromised and my Native American heritage is honored. Walk proud... aware of who you are. It is an issue that each of us has to settle for ourselves...

  • @Rantalicious All I got to say to that is Amen Brother!

  • Con esta música encuentro a mis Ancestros y a mi mismo

    Ajo

  • I'm just barely legal, as far as having Native American in me. I'm 1/16 Cherokee, even though I was raised as a caucasian, with standard Christian beliefs. I have always had a affinity towards the Native American Culture. I respect the tribes, and what they represent. This is truly beautiful, thank you for sharing..

  • @Danceagain80 Thank you for taking the words from my mouth. I am white skinned and blue eyed like many others, and I know next to nothing about the culture, but I respect it immensely. my heart longs for it. I am 1/16 as well, but I wish it were more if only so I could have been raised with the culture as my own. @Rantalicious is right, it's the sincerity and love in ones heart that should tie them together. I thank my lucky stars for the Cherokee in me. it is a part of who I am.
