I just bought this vehicle like 2 1/2 weeks ago. The vehicle is a big improvement over the 2006, 2007 SantaFe. It drives and handles beautifully, very roomy as well. Awesome SUV, it has that sporty executive look to it.

I got the 09, the RAV4 truly not a big fan of because a few years ago they did a safety survey and it failed because they was easy to flip turning corners. They may have improved but I don't like them....

While many people trash Hyundai nowadays,I remember when Honda entered US market three or four decades ago. US motor companies thought they were going to reign forever, and now you see what happened. Japanese (and now, korean) cars are more reliable and are battling to take the leadership of the market... Santa Fe is a good option!

Super comfortable to drive with plenty of space, heaps of gadgets and accessories and plenty of safety features. So, shitty may have applied to Hyundai 15 years ago, I agree, but no more. I just test drove the 2008 today and decided to buy one. I tested the Mazda Tribute too and there is no comparison. The Santa Fe ride is smooth, noiseless and it corners well. Good torque. Lots of room. My only complaint is the styling of the windshield in front makes the drivers head very close to the ceiling. And I'm short. It you're tall it could be a problem. It has that rounded Murano type styling which lessens visibility in my opinion. Still, I can live with it; it's a nice vehicle.

My first car is a vw 71 bug and my "Im A grown up car" is a hyundai Elantra 2000 wagon 2.0 limited and I love that car It has been so good to me and its way reliable. I have never had any problems with it. Hyundai makes good quality cars. Its been so good to me that Im giving it a fresh coat of paint And Upgrading the suspension! Love that car its more reliable then my dodge durango. BTW Im keeping it stock I hate that rice tunner sceene.

My 1997 Honda Prelude SH started burning oil like crazy only after a year. By the time it was 5 yrs old it was consuming 1 litre/1K miles, crazy. Apparently burning oil is a common problem with modern engines.

Stumbling across this video a few weeks played a HUGE part in my decision to buy a Santa Fe. I have a White one now. Just got it a few days ago. I LOVE IT. And I test drove the Tucson for good measure, but I loved the comfortable seating for the Santa Fe. I compared to the New Jeep Liberty Unlimited and the Santa Fe still came out on top. So I went and bought it. It's elegant and beautiful and is Huge on the inside but really quaint on the outside. Has just the right amount of Might. it Rocks.

I had a 2004 Santa Fe and I have to say that once I got my 2007 the difference was night and day! My buddy has a 2006 Pilot and the Santa Fe blows it out of the water, except in price he paid about 10,000 more than me and I have everything he does and more.
