ahmado78 , thanks for the info. I was really surprised when I saw the Pre's demo. I just don't care for the slide out part of it, but I love the technology. I have the Treo 755 right now and the internet is quite slow. Hopefully this won't be the case w/ the new Pre.

From what I'm reading, there's no support for older Palm Apps, however they left the OS open for emulators.

I think they're trying to get a more rich and updated application environment. It will have previous developers create a new updated version specifically for this phone, and I think that can make things very promising :)

Smaller than the iPhone screen but the .4 inches of space isn't needed because this thing actually has a real keyboard so the extra space isn't needed for the virtual one. Also I assume this would work wirelessly over your car stereo bluetooth or through your aux input.

I don't know if you're being sarcastic or actually surprised, but yat, it is 99$ for unlimited minutes, 3g, text sms/mms, tv, gps, email (duh, cause you can do it with 3G anyways lol) I think its a great deal/alternative to only 450minutes and you pay extra on other things. :)
