I'm so glad that God showed up and showed you guys things that you wanted to change or even accept. The Ministry Team is always in prayer for you guys and I'm so glad that we can see where/how our seeds are being harvested. Thank you guys for coming out! The majority of these kids (not specifically your group, but in general) were moved, not changed. I couldn't stand acquire the fire because there was too much noise. Whatever happened to just being quiet and listening for God's voice? It was all about the music, leaving all the kids on a spiritual high that "made them feel good." I'm sure we can all agree that being a christian isn't about feeling good. Granted, it is the best thing to ever happen, but they're making it into an emotion.
Many kids are not changed, but how much is 1 soul worth? How about 10, or 100? One of our students who went told me in the hotel room that he did not believe in Jesus, but he was impressed with the love he saw between these young people. Well, something happened to him, and now he's a believer and one of the most committed students in our youth group. Another girl confessed a lot of sin and has now been walking again with Christ since ATF. Not changed? Well, I know a few. Were they worth it?
Praise God for that. I didn't mean no one was changed, and I didn't say it wasn't worth one soul, but I think that their approach was off. Making it seem as though all teenagers want is to be entertained. Like we're so dumb that they're just going to put on a show for us to "help us understand." I would have been content if not overjoyed if they'd just done a study where you actually USED the Bible in your own hands instead of them simply telling you what it meant. =\

atf I went to that 3 years ago and really wanted to go this year but i was working at my church. anyway cool to find someone who did go on youtube
