This song is about Morgoth fleeing the Wrath of Feanor across the Grinding Ice, with the giant spider Ungoliant in tow. A creature from beyond the stars, she stops off for a midnight snack on the way, eating all the jewels of the Noldor. When Morgoth refuses to let her eat the Silmarils (which contain the last light of Valinor, aka Paradise, that Morgoth has stolen from Feanor the elf), she attempts to eat Morgoth... and he is unable to escape... without help!

guys,you are making a mistake...the dialogue is between ungolianth and morgoth.ungolianth wants more than everything to keep the silmarils, for his hunger of light and precious things...morgoth made a path he didn't keep,which was of giving a silmaril to her as a gift, for the help she gave destroying the two trees of light in valinor;In the song ungolianth pretends to have the silmaril,but morgoth doesn't want to maintain the promise...so there is no feanor arguing with morgoth:)

Admittedly, a lot of young PM fans have an annoying tendency to only know the huge bands (I.E, Dragonforce) even though BG and Helloween are the actual forefathers of power metal. Well, the original forefathers are probably Iron Maiden and Judas Priest, but in terms of the first actual power metal bands, BG and Helloween were amongst those.
