  • I screwed up both ligaments in my knee so all I can do is a heel stretch but my base leg is bent and a Scorpion-__-

  • I have my straight leg scorpion but when I do it my leg is more sideways then behind me, any tips on how to fix that?

  • @ashleyevering try working your floor splits more, or the wall stretch where you lay on your back and put weights on your ankles. You have to really be comfortable in your split to do the doorstretch

  • gabi, lemme just say youre GORGEOUS!! :D (no homo) but i have everything down on my right side i have a right bow and arrow right scorp right heel stretch and everything else but how do i get it on the opposite side? btw im sort of scared to do all of that stuff on my left becuase i recently had surgery on my knee so can you give me some advice as on how to do bow and arrow and scorp pulling my left leg up? thanks

  • @CheerLuvXOXO Just take it slow, especially because you are recovering from an injury!!

  • @Rlacouette ok when you in a scorpion just try to pull you leg a little higher and you get that pulling feeling and hold it ok XD

  • Is it okay if I don't stretch everyday? Like maybe every two days I stretch annd then stop for a day? Or should I just keep stretching everyday?

  • @EmILYShiel13 it better if you let you body rest idk y but its better give you body a break like i strated to do this i do it 3 time a week i should help because when i did my cat backs the next day it was allitle sore so just rest it

  • @xXDollyShamoohXx Oh no!! Well, take it easy and rest it. Remember to take it slow when you start stretching again. Push yourself but be careful too!! Hope you feel better soon!

  • @cheercrazy2212 It took about 6 months to get my needle. That was about a year and a half ago, so I have kept stretching ever since!!

  • SORRY. My computer keeeps sending when im in the middle of typing lol. Um what leg do you pull your stretches on? My team stands on the left leg and pulls on the right but I have been told thats wrong?

  • @PrettyLittleLiar1198 Yes, that is called opposite. You should stand on the right leg and pull with the left, but either way it's all good!

  • Hello Gabi.... How long did it take you to get this flexible??? I was a Level 4 flyer then took a break and lost my skills in my left leg... Please respond :)

  • @MWgurls Well, it probably took me about 4 or 5 months of really heavy stretching to finally get my needle. Then from there the rest has just been stretching every day over the last year or so. I know some people though who have gotten their flexibility much faster, so you just have to keep working hard!

    For a tip with stretching your straddle/middle splits against a wall, if you are already flat maybe get pillows on each side of your feet and push further so you are going into oversplits, or if you aren't flat you aren't flat on the wall get a partner to place their feet on either side of your thighs (i know it sounds weird but if they put their feet on either side of your butt then it gets a better stretch) and just get them to push. we do this at gymnastics :) x

  • @ShazaWaza18 Yes, sometimes when I first started my legs did that.  You are working your muscles out when you stretch them so it's natural! Keep working hard!!

  • That was amazing :) I keep hurting my back everytime I try to stretch my back muscles for scoprions, I think I'm pushing myself way too hard and definately doing something wrong, even in a bridge, now I'm too scared to do a bridge incase I hurt myself, are there any easy back stretches that won't be too hard for someone with little back flexibility?

  • @finalfantasy93 Well, you should try to rest your back for a few days, or maybe a few weeks so that your back can heal if you hurt it. Then you could try to do some rock and rolls on the floor. If bridges are hurting, then start by keeping your shoulders on the floor but doing a bridge and see if that hurts. You can start there.

  • @TheCheerChicks Maybe there should be a little warning, like "This is Level 5" -- a beginner should definitely NOT try to do these stretches.

  • @TheCheerChicks Yeah, I was thinking of the people who said they had pain, and it could be a problem for a newbie. Maybe one of you could make a stretch video for people just starting out in cheerleading. In case you missed my earlier comment, this video is awesome--some of the techniques I've never seen before.

  • I was in gymnastics for about ten years and know alot of stretchs but i havnt seen that oneu do in he door way that is a great idea and the shoulders you did was new to me to..   • @AlllStarMakeupTV No problem. I usually stretch at home by myself. But when I'm at the gym I usually stretch with a partner. I will be making another video that has more partner stretches you can do.

  • @blahblahblah35961 If you can't get to a split yet then just work on pushing your hips downward in your split and try to get your split better, then work on your back.
