  • There's a nicer one you can try for free, first do a search for HomeLogic on youtube, and if you want to try the HomeLogic iPhone application, go to the app store and search for HomeLogic, it's a free demo :D

  • I've found nothing but restrictions.. you need windows (no native mac backbone), a server, usb z-wave dongle (not available for UK frequencies) etc.. oh and UK plugs..

  • You can add security to this system. For the demo we simply didn't enable it.

  • I have enjoyed the video, but I have a few problems: 1. I live in the UK, 2. I am poor, 3. I rent a single room in a house.

    So what can you do for me? I just want to turn my light switch on and off, a lamp too, but the light switch really. Can I do this without a massive setup?

  • This system is one of the cheaper solutions out there. For the UK you can build a system on top of X10 hardware, which is cheap!

  • I am using an iPod touch here. Hence the confusion. It works exactly the same on an iPhone.
