Glenn told me when this stuff was recorded that the

song was written by Curley Fletcher, the Same guy

that wrote the original "Strawberry Roan" because he

figured he could write a better parody of his song than

anyone else. Most of the folks with songs on the "Uncle"

LP (which Rounder should reissue) were made up by

Mark Wilson & myself. Glenn insisted we use his real

name.
