Hiya! I heat trained at the beginning of January and had to self trim to get rid of unwanted split ends. Tell me, how do you keep split ends at bay? Thanks!
For the past few months I've been learning how to manage my hair! I keep my hair braided up and it grew tremendously! Now that the braids are out I've been using shea butter and coconut oil, and it has done wonders for my hair. Also I've learned how to manage my wet hair, close to no hair strands come out! I'm very happy about the progression of my hair. I also watch your videos for tips. You have helped me out alot! Thanks for taking the time to inform us Youtubers! Peace.
@spareld How did I do what? Grow my hair? I have a few videos with my hair braided up so it grew quite a bit. My hair is just touching my shoulders. I believe I've had my brains out for a month, after I take them out I let my hair rest, like I'm doing now, and then have it rebraided. As far as my wet hair, I let it air dry and sometimes I part it into 4 sections, braid it and let it air dry. I make sure to use my shea butter and coconut oil while it's wet and after it's dried.
@spareld I also switched shampoo and conditioner which helped alot. I keep as much heat off my hair as possible, and only straighten my roots every blue moon. Aphogee is awesome for my hair, so I keep things as simple as possible. How do you take care of your hair?
@jasminelilyisis twist out and that's it lol I have my hair is just twist now...I usually wear a curly fro but I had to rest for a minute because my hair is so thick and full that sometimes it can be overwhelming
@spareld I've tried the bantu knots. My hair didn't turn out like I had hoped, so I never tried it again. I did a video with the results and posted it here but someone said I need to do my hair lol so I removed the video. I didn't think it looked that bad. I thought it was kinds cute.

Do you experience any real breakage?
Ellexis88 1 year ago
@Ellexis88 - Do you mean the training or the BKT? I didn't experience breakage from either.

Your hair is so nice !!!!! Which keratin brand do you use ?
olilou27 1 year ago
@olilou27 - The thin stringy last inches are from the BKT. I wouldn't recommend that for anyone.

@Brittanynic16--- You didn't give me the brand name of the BKT
olilou27 1 year ago
@olilou27 - It's because I don't recommend any BKT products sorry.
