The King of Thailand presented the hilltribes with agricultural alternatives to opium growing, including coffee plants. One indigenous tribe known as the Akha was the beneficiary of this scheme. A Canadian chose to back the Akha people 100% in this venture.Thanks to to his generosity in giving the growers a 50% share in the Canadian company, 'Fair Trade' has since evolved into 'Beyond Fair Trade'--a noteworthy business model to emulate in terms of sustainability and sound ethics-P. good. but the video was jumping back and forth to much. It would be better if it was some text describing whats happening and to have the growing and harvest in the beginning and the end product in the end.
