  • @vietforever95 You do not need to add none oil based cream but if you wanted you could use petroleum jelly :)

  • @popmygum1

    Thanks :)

But it still be the samewithout the cream right?

  • flour cornstarch = same

  • Hey! I want to try this but one question.. Can you use that same pot you used to make cold porcelain for cooking again? Or do you have to dispose the pot?

  • @xPolymerClay Yep... :) you can use it again.

  • @popmygum1 Yay! Thanks! :)

  • is it ok if u use clear glue????

  • @princessawesome003 I'm pretty sure, I would try it and see how it turns out.. :)

  • Can u use flour instead of cornstarch?

  • @xRoseAngel No DO NOT use flour of your creations will crack!!! :)

  • @popmygum1 what if u add baking soda?! Lol

  • thanks really HELPED!!!!!!!1

  • It would be easier to mix it in the pan....

  • what temperature?

  • @dakotalaniestudioz Medium high temp on the stove top... :).

  • @popmygum1 but i mean like what exact temp i dont have a medium high stove

  • @dakotalaniestudioz how does ur stove work? if it has a dial, then put the dial in between medium and high. if it shows degrees, take note of the lowest degree and the highest degree, put it in the middle of those two, divide the degrees in between the middle and the highest in 2, add it to the middle. there u go :) i kno its a little confusing, but that's the best i can explain right now :p

  • @nic0lekA lol confusing

  • @dakotalaniestudioz haha dangit!! i tried :p but how does ur stove work?

  • @nic0lekA degrees

  • @dakotalaniestudioz is it a dial or u just keep pressing a button to make the temp higher and lower?

  • in anpother video it said not to use school glue to use the all purpose glue or whatever does it matter??

  • @iheartsupershorts Hi It really doesn't matter what type of glue you use.

  • I luv this I tried it today works great! But I found that if it is sticking to ur hands when u knead it and r impatient to knead it for 16 minutes to make it non sticky u should just put a little cornstarch on the baking sheet and knead it in :) srry for long comment lol

  • @summer13winter13 Hi thanks for the tip but I recommend kneading for 10- 15 minutes to get the paste to the right consictency.

  • @HelloKitty59766 It's the only way to make cold porcelain; the clay mainly consists of it and corn starch. So you pretty much have no choice. :L

  • @HelloKitty59766 the glue helps it stick together and have the right consistency. I dont understand why youcant make cold porcelain, I mean cant you go out and buy some glue???

  • PLEASE ANSWER.....can you use rice vinegar???

  • hey quick question do u HAVE to wait 24 hours before u use it or is it just reccomendded?

  • @summer13winter13 I guess that you don't have to but I highly recommend that you do.

  • do you add white paint?????

  • @princessrocketeer11 Nope... :D.

  • Do you think I could use rice flour instead or cornstarch? (no idea what cornstarch is XD) ALSO if I cook it in the pot can i not use the pot again for food?? x

  • @pinkandglitter Thanks for watching. I would not recommend using any flour because your creations will crack. And you can definitely reuse your pot. Hope this help :D.

  • Cold cream on cookie sheet? Sorry! XD First time making it!

  • @TheTrueSuspenderGirl Yep I know its a bit weird, you can also use a plastic mat or something.

  • do weird fumes come out while cooking?

  • Can you use flour instead of corn starch?

  • @TheTrueSuspenderGirl No or the paste will become very dry and crack when it dries, so I don't reccommend using flour.

  • mine gets really sticky after i store it for lik 2 hours. i take a chunk out and there are a bunch of air bubbles that cant come out. and also it feel kinda rubbery and when i mix it for a while it gets better but also slightly whiter. i stored old cold porcelain (from a while ago i did it) and it was soft but after the 3 months i didnt touvh it and all the baby oil came out a ruined the container.

  • @adorablekitten191 Your problem might be that you are not kneeding it for long enough. You need to knead the pate until cold or at least warm. Also you should let the paste sit and should not touch it for at least 24 hrs. Hope this helps... :D

  • is it safe to use the bowl and pot again for food and does it air dry quickly????? please answer! :D

  • @PrincessKittiearts14 Yes you can use the pot and bowl again and it takes 2-3 days for the paste to completely dry... :D.

  • is it ok to use petroleum jelly instead of a cream?

  • @erickav808 Sure and you don't need any cream if you don't have any... but yes petroleum jelly works fine.. :D.

  • @popmygum1 thanks, that is very helpful. :)

  • Can you use a pot that u will use for food again ?? Plzz respond :)

  • @krissycakes21 Yep just be sure that you wash the pot well... :D.

  • Hehe this deserves all the attention its gotten. :]

  • can you use flour instead of corn starch?

  • @TayTayD107 No flour will make the paste begin to get crusty and make a bad version of play dough... :D.

  • @popmygum1 eeeeee play dough already sucks

  • @popmygum1 i have a couple of questions

When u clean the bowl and pot is it still useable?

So in the vid the vid u dont need to use the cream thing right? plz reply

  • @Kathychan60 Yes the pot is still reusable and no adding cream is optional.

  • @popmygum1 thank u

  • @Kathychan60 Your welcome... :D.

  • @popmygum1 by cream do you mean lotion??? please answer

  • @PrincessKittiearts14 Yep... :D.

  • @popmygum1 sweet thy

  • @popmygum1 does it matter what kind of lotion you use?? like can it have any kind of smell???

  • @PrincessKittiearts14 I dont think it matters... :D.

  • can I microwave it ?for how many minutes? and can I use something else and not pot if im gonna use microwave?

  • @rhynee123 You can microwave it but you need to do it in intervels of 30 seconds. You would do this 3 times stirring in between intervals.

  • Comment removed

  • Can i microwave it?And for how long? I have a 700 watt microwave.

  • @suetyee2000 You can microwave it but you need to do it in intervels of 30 seconds. You would do this 3 times stirring in between intervals.

  • I Just made this... do you bake it?? and for how long

  • @Polymerclaynerd Cold porcelain is an air dry clay that you color with acrylic paint. You don't bake it but it will take 1-3 days to completely dry. You would let it dry before glazing or painting on it... hope this helps. sorry it took a while to respond.

  • Hey can you substitute mineral oil with baby oil?

  • @Polymerclaynerd I'm pretty sure that mineral oil and baby oil are the same, I used baby oil in the tutorial so yep you can use whatever one you want... :D.

  • @Polymerclaynerd i think mineral oil and baby oil are the same thing. I have also seen that in other tutorials, people said to use baby oil.

  • Did this receipe work?? cus if so ima make some and ill post a video response to you if with all the stuff i make with it if this works ;3

  • @chewythechihuahua Yep it works great, but if you want it to be more sticky knead it in not only lotion but glue to. You want to knead it until when you brake it it forms peaks.

  • instead of putting it in a pot can i put it in a disposable bowl and put that into an eating pot so i dont get it dirty but cook it?

  • @adorablekitten191 You could try that but if you use a pot you can still eat from it... :-).

  • what was the olay cream called or can you use any cream to spread on the pan?

  • @Hellokitty7814 I don't know the name but another great brand that you can use is nieva cream... hope this helps.

  • ok people im i the only one that doesnt have baby oil !!!! quick question. wat if i dont use baby oil?

  • @aphrodite144 If you don't have baby oil then you can use olive of conola/ vegitable oil and it works great... :-)

  • how do u color it?

  • @0nanners0 You use acrylic paint for more info you can watch my tutorial on how to color it... :-).

  • can you put it in a pot instead of a ziploc bag
