I saw him when he was in Sturgis, Michigan and got to go on-stage and smack some of the food with his Sledge-O-Matic, it was REALLY fun.(I think he said the original one was broken in one of his shows but it was real old, 20 years old I think he said.) He said that he was going to retire soon, I'm glad I finally got to see one of his shows in person. I sure will miss him he is a great comedian.

This isn't the Gallagher that we know ... this is his brother who uses the name "Gallagher 2." He is seven years younger than the original Gallagher(who has short hair now)but they resemble each other so much (in looks and voice)that most people can't tell them apart.
