Truck sounds great! My buddies dad has the same set up on his 08 Silverado LTZ with the 6.0 Vortec Max and they sound identical! Love the take off "scream" sounds very aggressive. Check out my channel i have some vids of my 96 GMC Sierra with the Flowmaster 40 dual exhaust
Go with the RCD lift at 6" not too much. Rancho RS9000XL:shocks, Ceramic brakes all around. it will handle handle like a go cart. I'd run a Gen II K&N filter system in it as you can't mess with your engine too much. I personally run Magnaflows duel in and out 3 inch in my 05 5.3 and run 17 inch wheels on R17 35 12.50's. My 5.3 is built so the exhaust system had to be set up and tuned for the 385hp. So slightly different sound... a bit quieter until you get on it. Good luck
@randallpaulcom Also if your going to do a levelling kit you might as well give is a bit of a lift no more than 6 inch. The truck will look great and maintain the integrity of handling.
I got a 2012 chevy silverado crew cab 5.3L engine, and thinking about going with the Gibson dual extreme exhaust. Do you have any problems when it shuts down to 4 clyinders, does it sound crazy when your just cruising?
@teddcoles No sir, I couldn't be happier with the kit. Thing I like the most is it doesnt "crack" its just deep and smooth. Another plus is that it isnt stupid loud, just enough to know you have something different, which is exactly what I was looking for.
