If you'd like to see any of these birds, go to Kapiti Island; a conservation island. I saw a robin & a pigeon when I went there and I have two Tui living in the trees surrounding my house.
Any of various warm-blooded vertebrate animals of the class Mammalia, including humans, characterized by a covering of hair on the skin and, in the female, milk-producing mammary glands for nourishing the young.
[From Late Latin mammālis, of the breast, from Latin mamma, breast.]
Sir Attenborough, you are the embodiment of the words "conservationist" and "environmentalist". May your lessons be remembered long after we are all gone.

I think YOUR a faggot! How do you know he's not positing a serious philosophical question? If we are all made of atoms and the SAME atoms comprise our genitalia, mightn't we ALL be cunts, then?
Secondly, Homosexual is the last in the human evolutionary cycle: Homo Erectus>Homo sapien>Homo sexual... ipso facto, we are all faggots. End of class

Those birds are different. I bet their mothers slept around alot with different species. Can you imagine them going on Maury or Rikki Lake with their story? "Abandoned kids peck back: Whos my daddy?"
Sir David Attenborough is my favorite tv presenter. I'm glad he's working to conserve New Zealand wildlife, in addition to his other work in conservation.
Sadly, he is retiring... i read he is narrating his last series right now... on reptiles and such... makes me miss him already.. i also love how he narrates and how passionate he is.. ive collected all of his series
I think it would be nice to be able to go there and feed birds out of your hand like that. To have them not be afraid of humans would be so cool to observe.

I wish BBC would sell Attenborough content in HD format on ordinary DVD's, using divx. No DRM crap though, because I want to be able to play it 10 years from now, without having to log in to stuff, and on my Linux box.
"click here to see the full video" (annotation).... SORRY! U CANNOT WATCH THIS VIDEO IN YOUR COUNTRY!...=\

They are not exotic, they are native to New Zealand. Exotic is only used for introduced species. Exotic is not a word for novel or strange birds.

I think it's funny to refer to humans as mammals, we are ummm humans.
TheBikenutt 2 years ago
i think it's arrogant to think of humans as somehow superiour to the animal world that we evolved from.
macguyverdiver1 2 years ago 8
Do you think it`s strange to consider humans superior to earthworms or bacteria?
Dauphin35 2 years ago 2
Humans ARE mammals. The point is the birds haven't met with any mammals, human or otherwise, that would kill them.
