Obama is bad; McCain is worse. Obama will tax you openly - but he'll likely tax the rich lot who export jobs while taking advantage of Bush tax breaks. McCain will tax you; but he won't do it openly (he won't raise taxes, but will allow big business to RAISE prices on goods/services, creating a proxy tax - you wind up paying more, only it's 'not taxes' so according to the Repubs, it doesn't count) so McCain is more dangerous as the consumer gets screwed, the rich sit pretty.

I'm pretty sure that McCain did NOT pick Palin; The 'Maverick' had to give up that right to secure the party nomination - she was handpicked by Cheney; they had meetings as far back as December '06. They were sure that Hillary would be their opponent - Palin was to be a counterweight to her. It says a lot that they did not consider a backup nominee if she DIDN'T win! Plus the big clincher: Palin is governor of Alaska; she will allow for oil drilling there if she's prez as Iraq is going badly.

Worryingly, BOTH Obama and McCain have ties to NAFTA. NAFTA was created for free trade between North and South America. Instead it's made people so poor they have to cross the border to get jobs in the US just to feed their families. Tellingly, the ONLY journalist who questioned the candidates about this was a CANADIAN. Interestingly, all the people who were anti-NAFTA have been sidelined by the media (like Ron Paul, Kucinich, Ralph Nader etc.). Not good for a 'free' press.

a) the doctor in charge of keeping McCain alive until after the election as the President and,

b)the dweeb who got Palin's daughter pregnant as the VP!

This video is very timely, as I feel that the neo cons/conservatives want Palin and not McCain to be their mouth piece if they do win. Reason's simple: she reflects their values; so they'll vote for her 'cause they LIKE her, NOT because she has any real SOLUTIONS for the problems affecting the US. I'm not saying that McCain will suffer an suspicious heart attack (like John Smith did in the UK allowing Tony Blair to become the head of Labour Party) but they will sideline him to prop her up.

If you go down the list of their stands on all the issues, Obama is distinctly left of McCain, which is a good thing. Sarah Palin is to the right of Bush and anti-intellectual/anti-rationa­l in the extreme. Obama is probably like a conservative in Britain or Canada, while McCain and Palin would never stand a chance in present day western Europe. (Germany in the 1940s, who knows.)

I seriously thought this was real (minus the pictures) until the end. I see time and time again Republicans cheering for statements and speeches that make me want to vomit with rage. This video was not too far off from something I would have expected to see at the neo-con convention.
