This brings back great memories of my high school days in Shinnston, WV. This song was a big hit in our area and it was great to dance to this song. They do not make music like this anymore. I have a question. I was watching some of the pictures. They were taken in Monessen, Pa and One was from Belle Vernon,Pa. Monessen was my hometown. I went to Monessen High class of 66. Was there some connection to this band and Monessen? Love this song

@pghpookie Hey Pookie, this was BIG across the river in Steubenville, too. I remember going to Teenland West in Follansbee WV dancing to this with my sweetie--very romantic night for a 16-year old girl madly in love. Remember Scott English's High on a Hill--another Pittsburgh/Steubenville winner!!

I read somewhere on the internet that the Electrons were students at Penn Hills High School when they recorded this. Sounds just as good as the Radiants' original.

They were in Penn Hills High School when this was recorded in the spring of 67. It was released in Aug. 67 .
