it all comes down to how you say it...

in a face to face conversation its easy to tell if someone is being hateful or not.

if its all in good fun, i think its a good thing to say things like that, b/c we as a culture need to get past this racist crap. in order to fix a problem, well should lay it all on the table..talk about it, work past it, and move on. if we dont discuss it, people are more likely to be offended by misunderstandings, thus keeping race/racism an issue.
