  • Also what people don't realize is his singing is a job his preaching is his calling its two different things and he knows how to seperate them we don't.

  • enjoy it I would love to hear Reverend Green preach, I would that so much.

I pray one Sunday I will be able to do that.

  • Seems she was doin' more than just taking your picture, LOL!! Where watchin' you on YouTube

    Al's the best !

  • What the hell is he doing???? LOL

  • I think Al is a man of God! I also think it's great that he's able and willing to get out of the 4 walls of the church house and sing and minister to people who really need to hear what he has to say! His concerts are like going to church....or at least what I'd like for church to be more like! FUN! And spiritual! So, let's not be so self righteous and judgemental of this man of God. If Al is setting himself apart to minister the way he does who are any of to judge that????

  • it's time he stop playing games. We can't serve two gods or masters. The Luke warm are nothing to God. The word tells us all this, without judgement. Some don't want to ever heard the real things of God..

  • WOW! You can't serve two master's. He does more secular appearances than gospel.

  • So what music is music. This man sings about love and is not God love?

  • EXACTLY!!

  • I pray that I can see Rev. Green preach at his church one Sunday!

  • @ROBINSONWC can you please tell me where his church is located?

  • Legalism? kbkcogic is right!!! God is a holy God even in the New Testament. We need to live for God and not live too close to the world.

  • Is he entertaining the members or preaching the word of God. Al Green is still singing in the world out of church. He must live a life of holiness.

  • Can you say legalism!

  • Yes I can sa legalism. Why is the first thing people sa when one speaks of holiness that is legalisn. Does it say in Galations that we can ot use our liberty as an occasion of the flesh? God still requires a holy life from believers and we should absain from wordly pleasure. When Al Green first started singing Gospel he wasstill working the crowd throwing his jacket into the crowd.

  • I know what you are trying to say but why can't he still sign in the mainstream along with the church community. That is all I am trying to say.

  • @kbkcogic People do not realize, that God uses people in the secular world to bring messages to save/unsaved people...Isley Bros. Harvest for the world...Curtis Mayfield..People get ready..Amen, New World Order..Sam Cooke..A change is gonna come..God is LOVE..My belief is that when they start sexing, and cussing and carrying on, then that's when sin comes in...How do you mend a broken herart? What's sinful about that?

  • @laidyeh -And James Brown, "Let's Make This Christmas Mean Something This year."

  • this is great to see al in church. If someone has a direct contact with al, please let him know that I would like to see more of al church videos and more of al preaching.

  • Now THAT is what I call going to church on a sunday!

He needs to tour the Uk with his church!

    Please please please!!!!

  • the lord has such an anointing on his voice that really make you think

  • I am from Northern Ireland and i visited this church while on holiday in Memphis TN. I was so moved with the service and didn't want it to end. Thank you to all you wonderful folks back there who made my friends and I very welcome. I hope to see you all again real soon. God bless. xxxxx. ps thanks for posting this video.

  • I'll always love that man!!!! I do'not care that he is old enough to be my Dad. Until the ends of time he will be my favorite singer.

  • awesome. A musical legend in the pulpit! Think I'll head to Memphis for some old country church, too!

  • Where's the grits????

  • Wow. Al noticed you filming. How cool. U gotta love the guy for being so transparent and lovable. Very down to earth!

  • Great video. That watch and arm look familiar. Way to go Barry!!

  • I've been waiting a very long time for this video. To see my favourite reverend in his natural habitat preaching and singing, it's spine chilling for me. I'm on the next plane to memphis to attend a sunday service at the full gospel tabernacle. Huge thank you for posting this. I'm envious of you in the kindest sense of the word. To bear witness to Reverend green in this environment for two hours, lucky, lucky you. I hope you have loads more footage. Please upload it all. Absolutely wonderful!
