  • Nice video, nice gti, nice blow off!! ARG

  • This is an excellent video. Great sound. I like how you push the car without taking stupid chances like crossing the centre line or blasting full speed over blind crests. Good job! I am curious, how do the brakes hold up on a drive like this? Any fade?

  • @werdupboyee Cheers! Safety is surely as important as fun. The brakes held up very well aside from their inherent mushiness.

  • this is an excellent cruise video! and your car sounds superb!

  • where do u reakon i could route a mic to get engine or exhaust sounds without getting any wind noise distorting it?

  • the amount of fun it looks like when driving a manual car .. smh lol, my ass needs to get one

  • pssshh

  • time to change my underwear

  • Great video man!!!!

  • cold air intakes sound good when they purge on these cars

  • beautiful, buying mine in 2 months! almost have the down payment

  • @caligti4 how much down payment are you gonna put? I want to buy base GTI at the end of this month....

  • A:Great driving

    B:Nice beard

C:great choice on transmission as ONLY REAL MEN DRIVE STICK!!! lolololol

  • I really enjoyed watching this for some reason.

  • good boy ! this is great driving excelent

  • I could listen to this on my playlist all day long. :) I love that sound. mmm mmm.

  • You should learn to heel and toe now that you have the uplifting mastered. 50% of hard driving is braking ;)

  • Great video! Probably among the best on YouTube with a stock Mk5. I used to have this car, and my favorite thing was cracking the window open on a cool night and hearing the turbo. VW did a great job with that, and with the induction sound that's piped into the cabin.

  • does anybody know how how much insurance would cost for a o1 jetta?

  • Awesome video.

  • Wow! How did you get so good at shifting smoothly? I can never do a launch that good

  • btw im gonna promote the shit out of this vid on the social media networks.

  • i watch this video EVERY SINGLE DAY. i LOVE IT. you are an excellent driver my friend, and very fun to watch. QUESTION: i know of the pros of the the pend/tranny mount but from your experience what is the cons? ive seen it make some rattling in other cars, almost a statis noise while at low rpms / or on/off throttle (no clutch) on turns. whats your take? noise annoying? tuner worthy? obnoxious? barely there? THANK YOU SIR YOU ROCK

  • ohhh my it's so inspiring...just love it, so much love it!

  • video of your cam setup?

  • @MintzUk Hey man, I don't have visuals for the setup, but essentially its a tripod, placed on top of some foam for vibration reduction, and held in place by taught bungee cords. Not a bad stand-in for a proper glass mount.

  • How much L on 100km ? :)

  • Where the fuck do you live? amzing roads lol

  • GTI not just Car,GTI it's a way of life!

  • Nice man, that was a really smooth 1-2 and 2-3 shift man. Great upshifting. I have a 2010 Mk6 w/6 spd man. I find it hard to avoid the lurch or jerkiness when shifting in low gears under hard driving. Any tips?

  • @rushcreek77 Cheers! I found after driving the car for 6 months I finally was smooth with its transmission and clutch... I think what makes it hard is that the engine likes to rev up, but not down.

  • Nice

  • i enjoyed ur video...makes me want a gti...how did u mount the camera tho???

  • i enjoyed ur video...makes me want a gti...how did u mount the camera tho???

  • Driving this car with a manual 6MT is the best, DSG is boring, the manual is just so much fun to play with!!

  • What kind of Golf is this?

  • This might be the best GTI video today, the sound, mic placement and driving style are marvelous.. cant wait to get my mk6!

  • can u tell me EXACTLY what specs that u have installed or added to this car.(name brand etc.) please and thank you

  • @taal55 This car is fully stock. BOV and all.

  • @daveyulesfilms love the car! sounds and accelerates amazing for stock

  • what year gti is this? and it's completely stock?? that blow's my mind. great driving man.

  • SeaNanners??

  • I've been dreaming about a GTI for months now. This just makes me want it even more! Curse you!

  • I drove up and down highway 1 on the California coast several times after I bought my Mk6. Then I read in the news a few days later that parts of that road had collapsed into the ocean. I'm pretty sure my baddass GTI caused that.

  • @luminaeus haha, nice.

  • Fuck me its frankie boyle!

  • wow, I was actually considering dsg.. But after I saw this I'll stick to manual for sure. I can't believe this car is still running factory software and the exhaust is stock.. Great driving

  • @greekmuscle i might get one with DSG, what is bad about dsg versus manual?

  • @greekmuscle Test drive both before you make your decsion, but ya I also went with the manual and I can say I wouldn't have it any other way. Its just plainly more fun, and tbh you can do loads with the money you will save from getting the manual.

  • @xampx2k7 finally i went with a manual GLI, delivery is on wednesday and im looking forward to it!

  • @greekmuscle Awesome man! Grats, idk about you but I couldn't stand waiting for that. Im sure you'll love it, and hey with the money you saved you can go for APR Stage 1 when your ready :)

  • Jesus man, your a hell of a driver! I'd s*&# my pants if i drove my gti that fast lol. Just out of curiosity, where is this? Looks like a MA inspection sticker on the car?

  • @jtkent28 Cheers sir! Yes, it is MA... South Shore.

  • Sounds really good. My buddy just got a GTI, i love how subtle the turbo/bov is. It isn't ricey or stupid sounding.

  • my mom and friends were ripping at me because i took out all the seats in my car to save weight!

  • Clean and Safe driving!

  • Hey, I just bought a 2011 gti, and I want to start modding for performance.

What do ya recommend I start with?

I live in houston if that helps in any way

  • @cemsengul16 biggest bang for buck is surely an ECU... @mikepartyboy likes the GIAC over APR, but either will give you a 50hp bump! lighter wheels make the steering more accurate and fun. if you really want to go HUGE go for a limited-slip differential. that will transform the car into a beast in regard to controlling corner rotation with the throttle, you may even get some power oversteer. Otherwise, I can't recommend modifying the suspension at all. Good luck and have fun!

  • Congrats on the car man.

Might I add...you may want to reconsider APR for GIAC.

Regal GTi and GTI RSR/RSS all use GIAC program

I can see you know some what about the car. I too would do Racing tires, Brake Pad Upgrade...but would go for GIAC program or Stock. Unfortunately I have DSG...and its boring as hell. Don't want to keep the car no more.

  • WANK DOT DEE EX EF

  • great video ,i like :)

  • great video! what blow off valve do you have?

  • @TheMetzger385 stock BOV! the engine is an EA888.

  • dude this looks like so much fun where is this at i would love to take my mkv there we could play cat and mouse lol oh and what kind of camera do you have i would love to get one!

  • vw scirocco r

  • I'm surprised that you don't have more views! This is an awesome video. I love the camera setup and your driving is excellent. You can really hear that bypass valve working when you get off the gas lol. Before I read the description I thought that you had an aftermarket intake. I drive the GTI's competition (Mazdaspeed3), but I love the "Golf" lineup.

  • @grado1000 Thanks man! Yeah if only she had 263 horsepower she'd be perfect.

  • @ps3sideswipe cool man, thanks.
